This make me like the album even more a reputation experience, it`s something about when the world hate her but the true fans will stay make it`s more exclusive ^^ This is the era for the true fans who appreciate her lyrics and melodies. By now we should know that massive streams and sales don't mean quality. We've learned this with BTS as well. What's scary is publications giving this project a 10/10. Where's the integrity… 11 2

fromily Posted April 22 Posted April 22 It makes sense for the anthology score to be lower if they aren't treating it as a second standalone album but as the full 2+ hour double album. No matter how much better the second part is, p much any 2 hour (pop) album will seem bloated and overblown compared to the shorter og ver. So it automatically loses points there. Plus the critic will automatically wonder whether perhaps a greater effort could have been made to curate a shorter but ultimately superior album by focussing more on honing the good songs into even better songs rather than getting distracted and making a bunch of… less great songs. Hence the lower score. But I mean it's a .6 difference so hardly worth worrying about. Spoiler I mean props to the reviewer, I would be mad af if I had to listen to an album I'm not really into for 2+ hours even if it picked up in the second half :/ The money would help tho :p 1 1
