Eminem seems to the only from her peers that can somewhat match her longevity, maintaining consistent success with albums but still lacking a recent solo hit on the scale of "Texas Hold 'Em". How and why did Beyoncé outlast her peers? Edited March 30 by KOMH

Starshine
She's a student, she would have been a historian in another life and has deep respect for culture and those that came before her. And those that came before her were legends of impeccable talent another stratosphere compared to today's landscape. She channeled all of them, collected all of their traits like Thanos and said she wanted to make history, and that's what she did. She can flop for the rest of the life and it wouldn't even matter with that kind of legacy. All of the acts are just cherries on top of a legendary career that was already solidified with BEYONCÉ. It's like she said, no one else in this world can think like her.

CallumDavies
I think we forget how incredible it is that Beyoncé is still at the very top of her game after 27 years. She hasn't just outlasted her peers, she's continued to excel and innovate. Her artistic output only gets better 4

If I remember correctly Eminem has been top 20 best-selling artists in 2022 and 2023, the only one of his " contemporaries"

Shakira is absolutely still successful, but your post is purposefully misleading.

I just included her because she's a pre 2000s female who reached her commercial peak in the 2000s and released an album recently. Though I'm removing her now. AvadaKedavra
Hmm i find Beyonce success pretty impressive and i still dont get it. Cause she was a flop with THE GIFT-EVERYTHING IS LOVE How she was able to regain all that goodwill from the GP again???? Could someone here elaborate? What happened for Renaissance to be that successful???? after a whole decade not invested in the Mainstream??? Some of my theories All her Artsy albums gave her credibility and people see her as a premium artist now? Was her comeback to uptempo music seen as something really good? and everyone was missin her fun music? Playing to the trends (Disco Music) helped her? The lack of Rihanna and a prominent Black singer in the Panorama leaded everyone to Beyonce and her renaissance????
