James_Dean Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Based off of some of the present day winners, absolutely! 2
Rev8 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Definitely she would've sweeped in her Prime if they were giving the awards like they are doing now 1 1

Johnny Cash Posted March 23 Posted March 23 No, the music was weak and thankfully Poptimism wasn't a thing when she was relevant. The one she did get was for a song that was already made before she got her hands on it, which makes complete sense. 3 1 4

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Meghan Trainor, Chance the rapper, Alessia Cara, Sam Smith, Megan Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Samara Joy... They just handover the awards for whoever is popular these days. 2 6

WEEKND Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Don't you have to sing your own songs? Even the toxic win is fraudulent 2 5 3
Breathe On Moi Posted March 23 Posted March 23 she could have won Grammys for things off Circus easily, let alone talk about Blackout singles, Britney, Oops singles as well. whatevs, she doesn't give a f about them and neither should we
gagacasanova Posted March 23 Posted March 23 100%. Definitely should've won for Female Pop Performance for BOMT & OIDIA. I was surprised to see that the BOMT album itself didnt get a nod for Pop Album. Also should have deserved recognition for Blackout for sure.
Jay07 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Madonna doesn't have that many Grammys either. It was before they were giving them out like candy.

Think about how your fave never got another general field nomination after winning Best New Artist. 6 2 1
Madaboutmusic Posted March 23 Posted March 23 In The Zone was an absolute no-brainer for Best Pop Vocal Album. Especially against some of the albums that have been awarded that title over the last few years.
Toxic.Latin Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Britney the album In the zone Blackout all them deserved grammys but britney doesnt need them or care about that flop ceremony

Why are you as a mod not following your own rules and going off topic? Furthermore, since you wanna bring up my fave, if the recording academy is ageist why does my fave have 4 pop vocal Grammys total when Britney has zero? Hmmm? It's not like you said the recording academy is ageist for just general field p.s. beautiful has a song of the year nom (yes I know it's a songwriter award) 2 1

For the grammy's they were never going to award BOMT despite it deserving an award and more noms but could have nominated and awarded her for ROTY for Toxic. Based on the competition, I couldn't see a case for her winning any other year.

All of the people on that list even Macklemore who didn't deserve to win is more talented than Britney. 1
futuresuperstar2023 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Britney definitely deserved to win more grammy awards. Britney singles were masterpieces in my opinion 1
ericcartman Posted March 23 Posted March 23 No. Maybe more Peoples Choice Awards back when she was successful? 1 1
Comedor Posted March 23 Posted March 23 She was a label puppet so no. A win for Toxic sounds alright. 7 1
