The Change Your Mind songstress only has 1 Grammy (Toxic). Do you think she deserved another one?

imo: TTWE should have won in the same category Toxic did

I have never cared about this award show and Britney either but objectively yes. Her and many other artists have curiously been snubbed by this specific ceremony.

if the Grammys was what it is now, she would've swept 2000. but i guess the Grammys just don't like her. they never did. that one for Toxic was like a handout

She had the disadvantage of coming out during the “Grannys” era. The Recording Academy was practically allergic to rewarding relevant music and/or young artists.

Her chances were definitely hurt by the presence of the word "vocal" in pop categories. The grammys should have never used that word to differentiate from the classical categories. Many pop artists have been snubbed because of it

Production didn't like her performance in 99. That's why they've been snubbing her.

Her 2000 and 2001 nominations for best female pop vocal should of been hers. And in present day grammy voting they would of been.

Best new artist rightfully goes to xtina (due to her voice) but baby one more time.... should have won record/song of the year or best pop song of the year. And Blackout should have one Best pop album of the year.

Anyway, Granny doesn't like pop artist back in the day but everything has changed, they more easy and less harsh on popular female.

Absolutely. Overprotected, BOMT and Gimme More deserved sth in the pop categories and ITZ could snatch an album win. I don't know how they were received back then but if poptimism occured during Brit's prime she'd have at least a couple more Grammys.

:suburban:

no tbh her loss in 2000 should have went to genie and her her 2001 lost should have went to madonna music

not everyone needs to win a lot of grammys and her legacy and sales more than make up for it  :suburban:

Yes.

She should have won pop vocal performance for Baby, Oops, and Overprotected and slipped something for Blackout but obviously they hate her.

If winning GRAMMYs could change someone's career then perhaps yes but there are legends without many and commercial failures with many so no.
