I do think this will fare better than all of songs post Tomorrow 2.

There's been a common thread of content for her last releases: braggers rights/ish talking (Bongos, hot ish, Like what, Enough). Tomorrow 2 did it right and Enough is way more club friendly and radio friendly than those. 

If she wants to bring the momentum back she'll need to change up the content which she can and has before.

I do enjoy this song a lot. It remains a bop. My favorite song from her since tomorrow 2

The best thing she could do now is announce a release date, release and let tiktok and stans choose the next single. 
 

If it weren’t for these multiple releases, she would’ve been primed for a surprise drop but it won’t be as effective now that she has the flop stigma. If she takes another break, surprise-drop the album in January before any other major releases, or at most 1-2 weeks notice to cash in on those physical sales. Above all, she needs diversity in content. Her current outputs don’t stand out from the fray.
