No her name is Liana Liberato (yes, her name is a serve). Liana plays “Carly” in SCREAM 6. I believe she is Tara’s college roommate.

 

 

she has a quick 1 second moment in the trailer sitting up from her dorm bed when she hears a loud noise. I believe that is Carly’s death scene.

The monologue is expository, though I think it's written well. I find Melissa's performance in that particular scene to be moving, though I do recognize the scene's existence for convenience. The first Scream was loaded with exposition as well, I'd argue there are even instances of it being handled poorly so it's not like the franchise is without flaws. 5cream is not a perfect film, but the elements that work in my opinion make it a very enjoyable watch

I’ve given the 5th one 3 chances and hated it all 3 times I watched it.

 

Hopefully the 6th one isn’t as Scooby-doo’d or Riverdale’d, but we’ll see I guess

the only thing that saves 3 from a total disaster area are:
Neve, Courteney, Parker and David in the cast plus the Stab 3 chase scene is top tier

It's hard for me to choose between 2 and 5. "Scream 2" has some amazing, memorable scenes, but i think i like "Scream (2022)" more as a whole.

I feel like the only definitive part of my ranking is 3 as the worst, and I genuinely don't think the franchise will ever top it in terms of quality (or lack thereof). 

 

Cause sometimes I like 4 more than 2, but for a while I liked 2 more than 1 but now it's all jumbled. If push came to shove, I'd still put the first film at the top but I struggle to rank 2, 4, and 5 (though the more time passes the more I think 2 and 4 are simply better than 5.

Y'all I will NEVER forget the first time watching the car scene in Scream 2 AND Gale's chase sequence Top tier moments I fear, and to think they were able to pull all of that off with multiple rewrites and a tight turnaround time. Wild.
