Sydney was really the only legacy character whose screen time was severely short. So I disagree on that front. And I don't think it's any more farfetched than Scream 2 was and it literally can't be more farfetched than S3's premise. I still have faith they'll be able to pull it off. Definitely would prefer Neve to be in to some capacity but I don't think it's necessarily the nail in the coffin some are making it out to be

They don’t have a hand in how much the cast is paid or fee negotiations. I understand neve, because if she lets them lowball her and she takes a small amount of money then that affects how much she gets in other roles but I also understand the studio not wanting to give her millions again when they’re trying to move away from her character.

I love Sidney, but how often could she survive / live through the same thing over and over again? As long as she isn't killed offscreen, it's fine. Even if she would've been in it, it would've hoped only for a cameo. Depending on the storyline, it's way easier to include Gale, because of her job. And i am actually excited to see what they do with Kirby.

Something is going on though because all of the cast has left Canada and we’re like a day away from filming.
