Then she shouldnt be in this business. Taylor was performing non stop for 1989 og and that was on her fifth album and she looked tired but bulldozed through that era. She looks tired even after all those vacations she took. Now that her album is flopping, hope her label force her to work to recoup their investments.all those houdini payola, autoplay, you tube ads and only a 11 th peak position... you need to work hard and play hard in this business. And to think Warner thought her name alone would sell this era after all the money that went into making FN a success. She needs a new album out rapidly with some bangers to actually smash.

baby you need to shut up, we get it you're miserable and sad.

No offense but do you ever get tired of being constantly negative , I understand the criticisms and points your making but some radical optimism is needed :giraffe:

Its not negativity its the need for Dua to succeed. I love her and Im pissed off/sad she's flopping. She should be a WW superstar not  already flopping on album no 3.

Well you can easily skip forward to when she starts and stop watching when she says "I love you, have a good night" LOL

I mean that's exactly what I did, but I just don't understand uploading that video instead of trimming it

Not that part. The bridge/outro is cool.

I'll keep These walls and happy for u cuz they sound more natural and more honest and sincere. I dont need overstuffed overproduced tracks when i like the dua of be the one and idgaf. She has so many great songs. Really sad to see the downgrade.

Hmmm End of an Era kind of gets the job done on a warm, sunny day, huh?

Well its an album thread you cant force people into liking an album. I cant be here saying i love this album when its clearly not her best and the numbers and facts back it up.

We cant all wear rose colored glasses like some people. I'm not radically optimist just for the sake of things. Some people have to be realistic. See my play of words 😗 cmon where's people chill factor these days its ok to be side eyeing everything about all the artistic choices of this era and the album. Have a frappuccino or something 😉

Honestly, the more I listen to it, the more I love it. **** the numbers tbh. If this album did 50 million the first day most of y'all would be praising it.

Anything for love might really be her worst song :rip: there's so much potential but it just goes nowhere.. I can't believe the song got past her label and team.. I'll wait for the extended version to fully judge my thoughts but the switch up could've let into a nice guitar riff outro maybe something like less I know the better

The fact illusion is not a somewhat hit makes me sick 🪦 that song has grown on me so much and that bridge - last chorus is eargasm.. I kinda hope her team just stick with illusion as the current single for now whilst they devise a strategy and assess their options , no point for another single so soon, releasing singles too quickly is literally what killed this era.. Give it a chance because when the public wake up and her team finally give this song a chance it'll be everywhere (I hope)

Yes yes yes, they need to keep pushing Illusion. It's a hit and as good as Houdini + perfect for the summer. It's just the timing this era has been catastrophic but Illusion is that song

I be like ooh, it's confusing

They should shove "These Walls" down the GP's throats.

It's a perfect summer anthem.

What are you waiting for, Ms. Peepa?

These Walls sounds so freaking cool in the car. Reminds me of Circles by Post Malone. They should try pushing it as much as they can.

But if these walls could talk
They'd say, "Enough"
They'd say, "Give up"
If these walls could talk
They'd say, "You know"
They'd say, "You're ******"
It's not supposed to hurt this much
Ooh, if these walls could talk
They'd tell us to break up

Unfinished =/= bad. Was it a good idea for Dula to include an interlude in a short 11-track album where we had already heard 3 of the songs, 4 years after FN? No. But the song is super cute and the production makes me feel like a rich, French woman.

Each to their own I guess

People calling this album indie as if not every single person in the credits is a huge top tier paid songwriter of pop music :clack:
