Why are you still so mad about this song? Get a grip... the fact that you need to defend every little thing said about that song beyonce and her fans are fraudulent too so i guess there’s 3 frauds competing now 3
PoisonPill Posted March 8 Posted March 8 If Carnival takes it, it'll be the most “organic” #1 in recent history. No label, no airplay, no official single, no video, no performances, de-platformed from streaming services. Can’t tell if it’s impressive or concerning, but it’s definitely shocking. 5 1
Green Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Teddy reached a new peak on spotify US Spotify: 5. (+4) Lose Control, Teddy Swims 1,432,846 (+239,060)

Why wouldn't we celebrate stability when many of the MPG's singles are serving 1-OUT during 2020s from Ariana to Gaga to Nicki and even Rihanna? Beyoncé who hasn't had hit since Bush era was spending 5 weeks, 14 weeks, 10 weeks, 6 weeks and now 3 weeks inside the top 10 21 years into her solo career while Gaga hasn't seen one hit since 2013. 1 1

bad guy Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Carnival deserves. Truly an organic hit. Sorry to Teddy but the cheap tactics of 50 million versions and discounts to game the charts is an instant NO from me. 1
El Nino Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) No shade, but the Beyonce song does feel like payola. They paid for two weeks it seems The song is dropping across streaming platforms but suddenly she's being promoted on playlists. She's on Spotify's Hot Hits USA playlist (this could be common. idk) and Apple's Alpha International Women's Day playlist (on the browse page) during Ariana's release week. The ironic thing is, a very small pic of Ariana is beneath a very large image of her. Something about it seems fishy. Edited March 9 by El Nino
Gossip_Boy Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) Texas dropping is obviously because it was taken off TikTok. It has also fallen completely off the billboard TikTok chart (duh). Obviously Bey and other really big names can survive without it, but record labels are in for a rude awakening. I’ve been saying that they need TikTok more than it needs them. There's no "suddenly" about it. Also, what's weird about her being on HHUSA and the Alpha playlist? "Ariana's release week" doesn't suddenly mean all other songs get deleted from playlists. The song dropped a bit on streaming services once it was removed from TikTok as the dance challenge was helping blow it up. However, it has remained stable all over the world. It's mainly the US where it's starting to slip the most. There's nothing fishy about its performance at all...
