Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) Spoiler Not Professor X taking everyone to school😆 im kinda suprised they started the Shiar stuff straight outta the gate. This is kinda like the Jubilee & Storm episode. Them fitting 2 storylines into one again. It's entertaining enough and the dialogue is amazing. But coming off last week's Insanity… it's not as exciting. this was definitely more soap drama. Still good. Like 7/10 But Omfg🤯 Storm's Theme and Trasnformation👏 11/10. And it seems Mr. Sinister is the Big Bad of the season. Xavier saying to my X-Men made me Emo. Edited April 17 by Gorjesspazze9 3
SinnerCity Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I didn't watch last week's episode so I'm all caught up and feeling everything right now, sadness, happiness, anger, omg, this series is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Spoiler Gambit, the hero and legend that you are and omg, so so happy to have this new badass Storm!!!!! and welcome back Professor X! 2 1
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I'm still impressed this show is giving each X-man a story arc and not shoving Wolverine down our throats every second like he was in the 2000's-2010's. In fact, I feel like Logan has done the least in the series. 👏 also the writing and dialogue in the show is legit the best I've seen Marvel do in Movies and even the comics for the past few years. 5
Lovett Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I was GAGGED at Storm this episode. She's baaaaccccckkkkkkk!!!! 1 1

Mutant massacre & E for extinction are the books that started a shift for X-Men crossing over with other Marvel characters. This ain't new. Thats the whole point of the comic. For Mutantkind to be viewed and accepted as hero's. Complaint about X-Men interacting with Avenger characters is weird, since the most popular X-men debut in other Marvel characters comics. Prime example is Wolverine. And this series was animated a year ago, so a one episode cameo ain't Disney trying to boost views. Lol Yes, a good portion of comic books, specially Marvel, have crossovers. Most iconic stories from X-Men are crossover with their own mutant related books (X-Force, New Mutants, X-Factor, and so on), but the crossover between other Marvel characters wouldn't happen in the main X-Men titles, Uncanny X-Men and others, it would be during an annual event or a separated book. The thing is: X-Men don't need interaction with Avengers, they are not part of those events happening right now, it's just a way to bring the old Disney MCU Multiverse in something that has nothing to deal with them, at this moment. Even if we go by comics, having the Avengers in the same timeline and place that those traumatic moments happened to mutant kind, just make it all very messy for them not showing up, "they are not my people, let them deal with that themselves". There is a reason X-Men were always more popular than Avengers, before Disney sabotaged X-Men for not having the rights to produce movie versions of them. Liking it or not, Avengers were always a B type of heroes, and not A+ like X-men during the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Also, this is not that serious haha We just want this moment for X-Men to shine with just mutants, and not adding heroes that have nothing to deal with them honestly. 1
KaledKalil Posted April 18 Posted April 18 This week's episode.... Not Xavior being a sub for Lilandra haha We know so much about their sex life with just that dialog. I can't. Peg him, Empress. Storm getting her powers back PLUS her 70s costume back? It's a win for the gays. Good episode overall, 8/10 I think. 4

Just giving my opinion on the matter. More division within marvel isnt gonna help the state Marvel is in. Hence why most people want X-men in the MCU instead of a separate franchise. It's just business 101. The people that don't want them to mix or crossover are a minority of nerds. The general public want the opposite. Edited April 18 by Gorjesspazze9

The general public want the opposite. Sure, eventually they are getting together. It's inevitable, and it's not a bad thing at all. Not sure if they'll get together by Secret Wars, but I believe so. As for this cartoon specifically, I would much prefer for them to be separate with little connection. We got some fun cameos back during the original run, and it was totally fine, bring the cameos for season 2 and 3, but for this one would I prefer just X-Men. 1
Staryu Posted April 20 Posted April 20 The Storm scene from this week, best Storm moment in visual media ever created, the MCU has some BIG shoes to fill 3 1
noonbob Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) LAST WEEKS EP!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Spoiler My super hot, loving GAMBIT!! I can't take it!!! Loved him and Rogues scenes! I'm heartbroken. THIS WEEKS EP Spoiler ******* YES QUEEN STORM!!! BAD ***** IS BACK! Gave me chills all over (tbh ep5 did too, but this was in a GOOD way) I hope this look sticks, it's her best. The show is delivering, I can't believe it's back! Edited April 20 by noonbob 1
SinnerCity Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Ok guys, hear me out, I've got a theory about Cable's involvement without knowing which comics are adapting What if the whole purpose of the season is to avoid the massacre in Genosha? Or perhaps it's my wishful thinking of them somehow bringing back Gambit 2
Dark Miracles Posted April 21 Posted April 21 The writing on this show is so eloquent, literal poetry at times 3
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Tomorrow episode preview Rouge is Coming For Revenge!! 1
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) 🤯🤯🤯 X-Men 97' is officially the Best X-Men content ever made This is My X-Men! Spoiler Rouge Tossing Captain America's Shield😆 So much happen 🤯 How did they fit all of that in 28 minutes?! Like I've seen all the X-men cartoons and Movies, and none of them have displayed X-Men better. I'm actually shocked. Bastion being the Big Bad?! Human Sentials!! Every character getting a time to show. This has surpassed my expectations! Edited April 24 by Gorjesspazze9 3
KFC Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Another great episode! One thing I'm confused about Spoiler After Rogue touched that guy, why was she then randomly on the street? And how did she know about Sinister 1
KaledKalil Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Bright eyes wasn't that... good? I'm sorry, the second episode, or even the inferno one was better than this week's episode. The animation was insanely good, those Rogue scenes that were used for the preview were amazing. I would say it was 8/10 episode to me. Spoiler As I was expecting, the scene with Captain was ok, it didn't add much to the story because she could have that information from somewhere else. It was just fan service. Nice scene, but whatever. Roberto's coming out to his mother was also whatever. I don't know a single person who cares about his story. lol Yes, it ties down with the intolerance narrative, and how his mother wants to cover up him being a mutant, but I would rather have more about the main story than this. I was sooo happy with Emma getting her second mutation tho, get Emma on the X-men side NOW. Still a solid episode, but it's far from the best.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Every X-Men getting thier episode to shine!! I love this format and hope they keep it going in Season 2.And now this is officially a Critical and Commercial Smash for Disney Marvel. Fiege should be getting these writers on board for his upcoming X-Men movie. I don't know what De Mayo did to get fired, but it's very clear he has a passion and talent for making Stellar X-Men content. This is Hands down the best X-Men storytelling and action we have ever gotten. Movie or series. This is the Peak. That 3 Part Finale is gonna be INSANE! Spoiler Since we are following what basically happen in the comics. I think an Even bigger Massacre is Bastions plan. Like eradicate all mutants on a global scale Genocide type beat. 🤯 and with Magneto still alive and Charles coming, I think we might see Onslaught teased! Or Bastion might be successful and all mutants lose thier abilities except 1%. Leading into Messiah Complex with Hope Summers I mean there are so many ways to go with this. But Demayo has been on twitter saying that episode 5 ain't nothing compared to what's coming! I can't believe we might see Onslaught on screen😭 it took the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic four to beat him 1
