chris1991 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Okay episode 4 was just as good as the others! Idk why some of the fan base was up and arms! The split was odd, but apparently cartoons did those 15 min story splits way back when?
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) Glad this is still getting critical and commercial acclaim. It's still doing crazy numbers for Disney+. anyways I have a theory that this is leading into how MCU will bring in thier x-men. In fact it's actually coming to fruition if you look at how the arc is going 👀 this just my theory and how Marvel will make it simplified going into S2 and the MCU X-Men movie that is now confirmed to be in development Spoiler This Season is very obviously adapting 2 Major X-Men Events; E is for Extinction 2000's run & Mutant Massacre Late 80's Early 90's Claremont run. To keep this simple and short, these are two arcs that shifted X-Men into a new generation of comicbook storytelling into Crossovers with other Marvel Hero's regularly. Master Mold is discovered to still be alive via A.I. by Casandra nova who sends an army of Sentinels to massacre a majority of mutants on Genoosha. Basically Mutants can no longer live in peace even on thier own society. Also introducing new lore where mutants undergo a 2nd mutation, having multiple powers. And where dozens of X-Men teams are assembled and working simultaneously across time and space. this leads me to believe that Deadpool 3 will start to show the multiverse X-Factor & X-Teams exist already in parallel timelines/universes. Also that Jean scene where she sees graves being destroyed by an atomic bomb could be a hint that we will see a Mutant massacre coming in this series or in DP3. They could go the comic route of making it Casandra nova's fault or they might tie in Kang wiping out X-Men. But I know Kang is a flop, so they might just throw in some TVA stuff into the upcoming X-Men MCU lore. Either way I think this is a good way to show that Mutants have existed, just in other realities. And this is already confirmed in The Marvels and Deadpool. So if we can just get a writer to say Kang/ Wanda/ or some other threat removed mutants from our time space and just start having the X-Gene reactivated following endgame. It would be a easy way to transition to the mutant saga Edited April 5 by Gorjesspazze9 1

KFC Posted April 10 Posted April 10 What kinda insane trauma inducing emotional rollercoaster omg such a great episode 3
mathekr Posted April 10 Posted April 10 holy. ****. this is episode alone is the BEST piece of media that's come out of Marvel Studios/Animation. I'm truly speechless. Bring Beau Demayo back honestly 3
Staryu Posted April 10 Posted April 10 That episode was incredible, I can't believe they did that SO well in the short 30 minute runtime, it felt like a movie 4
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Not X-men coming in and casually becoming the best Disney plus series on the entire app this is being compared to game of thrones, I see reviewers saying this is better then anything the MCU has done in half a decade. And they are right. This is television 3 1

Lovett Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Oh my god. That was EXCEPTIONAL. I wasn't expecting to get so emotional at that closing line! What an episode! This is hands down one of the best things Mavel has ever done. 3
KFC Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I wasn't expecting to cry like that on a Wednesday morning lmaooo 2
loveisdead9582 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Was it just me or was the voice acting all over the place this episode? That said, this season has largely been killing it. I love that they're adapting the E is for Extinction storyline. It took me a second to realize that Madelyn in Scotts head was a nod to Jean discovering Emma in his mind. I'm wondering if they're going to use Cassandra Nova? It would make sense since this is her storyline in the comic version and also she's been confirmed in the upcoming Deadpool movie. Fingers crossed that Emma gets her diamond form in this series. 1
PopMusicJunkie Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Another great episode, I just hope the ending doesn't stick. The soap opera element to this show works and is done so well. 1
KaledKalil Posted April 10 Posted April 10 X-men IS soap opera, and it's great that they are managing to deliver great low moments and action scenes. This episode got me emotional, I can't. 3
Magic_boXX Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I agree what everyone was saying, definitely was not expecting that epic ness. Thought it was going to be a filler episode but wooow. These are the writers we need for the X-men films, and solid actors that can pull off the emotion and passion. I'm really loving the golbin queen! 2
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) X-Men 97 Trending worldwide on Twitter🤯 it peaked at number 1 and still is #3 most trending hashtag on twitter. Wtf?! I haven't seen this happen since Loki & Wandavision. anyways let me fanboy out real quick Spoiler WHAT THE HELL? GAMBIT having the Ultimate Superhero sacrifice! Magneto going out by protecting a Morlock😭! Rouge look so hot😩 um, I mean …her action scene team up with Gambit is exactly how I want her to be in the MCU live action. can't believe we got Met gala, Emma Frost exposing Cyclops, E is for extinction Massacre, Genoasha, and some of the best action Marvel has done all in 28 minutes! I'm not even exaggerating when I say this is the best stuff Marvel has done on Disney+ and that's including the Avengers movies. And the fact De Mayo said the finale is more insane than this? And we have a confirmed season 2. I honestly don't even know how they can top this. But I'm fine with it. It's pure quality from drama, action and suspense. Edited April 11 by Gorjesspazze9 1
