Is Taylor the most driven and hungry celebrity ever?

I don’t get why her fans are calling other artists lazy? There are people who simply don’t have the same ambitious or goals as her and that’s okay? It doesn’t make them lazy or mean they don’t care about making music :rip:

this.

some artists even grow tired of the fame, exposure, etc. and appreciate their run and/or legacy they’ve built.

I agree with this.

It's also important to realize that the artists we are talking about are in the 0,000...01% most successful people ever. Not everyone has enough ambition (nor should we expect them to have it in the first place) to keep reaching/setting up new goals when you already achieved so much. I personally would have cashed out very early if I ever had an album as successful as Fearless.

How is “hungry” an insult?

Umm no. She might release often, but she's also gotten very lazy with promo, i.e. no video for Cruel Summer (I think most artists would have released one if they had a song smash that hard), almost no promo at all for 1989 TV, rarely does live performances anymore, etc. She's at that (annoying) stage of fame where she doesn't have to try that hard, so she doesn't.

Working actively in her profession is not hungry or something

What Taylor does is what a musician suppose to do. Go through history you will find that most musicians were on road whole year while producing music

The reason every one calls Taylor hungry etc... is because their favs simply are lazy.

Most of them don't wanna work , they are in profession for fame and money.

Many don't like touring. Many can't even differentiate between notes. I can name many artists like these but you all know better.

Also atrl habit of shaming Taylor for working is insane. Cause what??? People are supposed to work. Leave your fantasy land

Being driven and hungry is not a negative thing, in fact it's commendable that she is eager to work and earn what she has.

Not when Rihanna is running 3-4 brands simultaneously on top of having 2 babies. If you said musician, i would agree.

But also, when Rihanna was a musician, she was releasing back to back albums while touring at the same time, for several years. Taylor is the most hardworking musician currently though.

I have a grand total of 40 posts. As poet Keke Palmer once said, I don't know who this man is.

Joking aside, the last couple of points ARE petty and unnecessary, but the responses don't even seem to be about that? Anyway, I'm not even a fan, but let the girl enjoy her peak. She'll settle down when she wants to.

Ye, the responses don't mention those points, but that OP set an offensive tone, so the responses would naturally be defensive. I came into this thread wanting to talk about MJ's ethnic, but was put off by that "famous friends and boyfriends" mention, and instead decided not to comment (until I saw your post)

!! Plus no interviews. No explanations behind album creations. There are still so many questions about Midnights.

yes and it's kinda nice to see. she motivates me.

Damn why are Swifties so easily offended? The first page is nothing but them whining, when the question being posed by the OP is basically a compliment :rip:

Not sure why some swifties think this is a drag when it's actually true and it's not bad. Taylor is ambitious and always wanna give her best, she has hunger for success for getting better, to improve. Wish more artists were this way, they just get famous and become lazy.

Ummm, many artists  are as determined as she is. Madonna stills work to this day, for example.

This is a little much considering she's going on a 150+ dates stadium tour that runs for 3.5 hours. Also not doing promo is what's allowing her to be so productive in terms of music. It's not like she drops an album, do 50-ish shows, and go away for a couple years.

Yes

We wish most of our faves were like that though

Ever? Absolutely not, Madonna (and many others) exist.

Out of the current generation of popular, commercially successful singers? Yeah, probably.

Why are Swift fans so sensitive to the point that they're taking offense to people calling Taylor Swift driven?

Posted

Yes

Posted (edited)

It's called work ethic and ambition, some should try that.

She definitely appears to be one of the few MPGs who actually enjoys making music, touring, and connecting with fans.
