1- 7.6M

2 - 4.3M

3- 3.4M

This song is expected to do just 265 points which is a massive decline compared to her other songs. Mind you, this one has like 69 various versions to buy and stream but it’s not doing anything for her :toofunny3:

It really doesn’t matter. There is evidently no impact to her stardom, seeing that the song was likely going to launch straight to #2. And that’s without factoring in the physicals. She can’t beat the tiktok meme song with a nearly 50M+ radio audience advantage. I’m sure she and her label are fine with a #2.

What will y’all do if single 2 has more momentum and debuts at #1? Will y’all eat y’all words?

The reach in here. ME! is garbage, yes, and? has a strong verse melody. And the chorus is not bad as ME! and the bridge is also way better

her " hitmaker " hability was Scooter doing God's work she'll have some nice numbers with this song? she will.

Focus and the DW singles before Side to Side also " bombed " until Scooter came back and suddently Ariana was everywhere again lol

The song just isn’t GP friendly.

The “why do you care whose dick I ride? Why?” Lyric alone prob killed its cover potential. Who’s going to want to sing that? :skull:

Thank you for your question! Well, let’s look at the facts to find out.

Her last three singles:

•Save Your Tears (Remix): #1

•Die For You (Remix): #1

•yes, and?: #1 (estimated

Grande’s online store offered vinyls and CDs of the single. The first physical release of single sold out within minutes. The second release sold out as well. In addition, three different mixes of the song were able to top the chart on iTunes. The extended mix of the song topped the iTunes chart in over 70+ countries, surpassing the amount that thank u, next and positions had. If anything, this demonstrates the consumption and strength of her fan base has increased rather than decreased as you claimed.

The evidence provided does not support your argument at this time. Therefore, the answer to your question is no. This case is closed.

I love her but I want this song to flop into oblivion so that the album doesn’t sound like it

Why is none of this being reflected in the sales or chart points? How did she go from 800 points to merely 265 (estimated):rip:?

Even lift me up (which bombed hard) debuted with around 330 points.

I guess we’ll see when the official charts are out but for now, things aren’t looking good for Ms Grande.

I don't think so. However, she's obviously past her peak, and right now she's definetely underperforming for her standards.

Hello,

I am glad to be of assistance. The report of total sales for Grande’s latest single has not been revealed. We should expect the numbers to be released on Monday. You can follow Billboard on Twitter for future updates.

Best,

Hopefully she can get The Weeknd to jump on version #15 to give the song some stability!

Not the ME! revisionism to drag Ariana. Please, can’t we keep some things sacred :thing:

Threads like this confuse me because what? She literally just surpassed TUN with yes and? Becoming her third biggest streaming week ever, not to mention Yes and? Was her biggest debut on Spotify in her career.

she has 7 #1 singles, so what if she plays the game like every artist does to get her 8th #1 for this one. It’s a house song..

I mean, did “You’re Losing Me (By Demand)” debut at No. 1? Of course, the Queen of Multiple Versions (beside Nicki Minaj) could’ve easily released several versions in order for it to go #1, but she didn’t. Every artist now a days rely on this tactic in some form, so trying to just bash one artist is hilarious to me. Taylor, Nicki, BTS benefit the most from this, but other artists such as SZA, Beyoncé, etc. have all benefited from this. So, making a thread to try and shade any artist who uses this tactic is laughable. :sistrens:

None of her Max singles have ever been charts smashes... and this is a house song. :penguin:

You can't draw conclusions like this from just one single, but I'm sure you knew that before opening this thread. :heart2:

I don't think anyone is debuting with that high over point anymore on billboard. The landscape has changed. Many artists including TS are releasing multiple album covers, singles (sped up, ect). It's just how it is now. To say it's only Ariana is crazy!
