And you’re just weaponizing a tragedy to make a political point and sanitize the Israeli Occupation :skull:

This is the Israel/Palestine thread. For posts about both sides. If you are uncomfortable seeing the truth about what Hamas is doing also that’s your fault not mine.

openly showing support for the kidnapping and torture/murder of hostages by Hamas

This suggests you seem to think the nearly 1000 Palestinians illegally held hostage by Israel are not being subjugated to inhumane treatment and torture.

It's odd that Palestinian hostages are being welcomed home with open arms and videos of celebrations while the Israeli government seems to be banning hostages who've returned home from giving interviews or speaking to press (???).

Nothing you said addresses the fact you just openly  supported the kidnapping and torture/murder of hostages by Hamas. Again disgusting.

Yes, I am neither offended by nor disgusted by Hamas or Palestinians at large feeling like taking hostages was the only way to get Israel to start releasing the 5x amount of Palestinians who remain hostage and illegally imprisoned in Israel.

I said this in response to your posting a propaganda video and not realizing that seeing Hamas honor their word to 1) not harm the hostages and 2) release them in a trade makes me further trust that they desire peace and that Israel, who has yet to condemn IDF soldiers for attacking Palestinians who were awaiting the release of hostages, do not.

It seems you're upset at trying to whitewash Israel and negatively portray Palestinians has only backfired.

You literally support the taking of hostages and their torture and murder. You have no high horse to sit on anymore when it comes to this issue 💀

This is impossible given I do not support Israel, who are the main perpetrators of such crimes.

Why did you share a video of Hamas honoring its agreement and the tweet in question somehow frames this honoring as... bad?

Am I meanrt to believe you somehow did not see or notice the countless Westerners and, ironically enough, neo-nazis replying to the tweeting saying for the people escorting the hostages to release to "get their dirty Islamist Arab hands off them"?

Do you not see how your incoherent propaganda and its inherent contradictions will backfire against your pro-Israel cause when people are presented with your arguments that Hamas releasing hostages without issue or hiccup makes them "filthy, rotten animals" yet IDF soldiers killing two Palestinians and attacking a welcoming home group during a humanitarian pause is non-controversial?

Why would anyone see Hamas honoring its agreement - in direct contrast with Israel - and think "I don't care what my eyes see, I know Israel is good"?

Again. Anyone else who would would’ve said what you did would’ve been banned from this topic. In fact many people have been banned from it for saying less horrible things.

You're now openly owning up to being a troll. Why are you ashamed of what you just tried doing?

You posted a tweet suggesting that Hamas releasing hostages - as promised - made them.... bad?

You're seemingly now flustered and upset that someone called this out and called your bluff, with you seemingly unable to answer to the contradiction of this framing vs IDF soldiers killing 2 people in the last 24 hours. You're apparently so unable to answer to this that you instead pivot to right-wing propaganda about how Palestinian civilians are "terrorists", and then go "I don't care!!" when asked to answer of reports of Ukrainians similarly attacking those accused of working with Russia:

If you're deciding to try and make people compare how Hamas and the IDF are handling releasing hostages, when this is the source material:

You can't be shocked your propaganda backfires and most logical people reach the easy conclusion of "yes, I support Hamas for keeping its promise". :michael:

Palestinians: *see the taking of hostages as an unfortunate stepping stone to get their family and loved ones freed and back home*

Israeli Zionists: *openly resent the hostages for making their true goal of exterminating an entire ethnicity of people harder*

And yet the Israel supporters in here are confused why their apartheid state is losing the narrative! Interesting!

Of course they look traumatized, they've been bombed by the IDF with bombs from America, paid for by the US taxpayer.

Thank you Joe Biden for your role in bombing children and elderly women.

Do you..... think Hamas are the only people in Palestine that hate Israel for bombing them?

Anti-Israel sentiment is/was higher in the West Bank than Gaza. It only became equal after Israel met peaceful protests in Gaza with a mass military assault that left hundreds permanently disabled. Citing that Hamas does not operate out of the West Bank is not to suggest the West Bank are pro-Israel.

That there is no Hamas in the West Bank is to point out the fact that the violence occurring is not originating from Palestinians out of thin air. That West Bankers were simply not organized in the same capacity of Hamas in Gaza to orchestrate such and yet themselves were on the tail-end of such violence from Israel for years, before *and*, most importantly, after 10/07 despite them not being who struck back at Israel.

Those in the West Bank have had years and years now of Zionist settlers terrorizing them.

We literally saw Israeli settlers commit pogroms against those in the West Bank this year. Refugee camps bombed over and over.

Am I meant to be moved by a right-wing furry (???) tweeting out "SEE! SEE!! LOOK AT HOW THEY WAVE HAMAS FLAGS IN THE WEST BANK!!".

AbXSn4V.png

...did you expect support for Hamas *to go down* after all of this amongst Palestinians?

When Hamas has effectively put forth a more unified defense than any alternative? That is why Israel is viewed as unserious with regards to peace, as any actual peace requires a ceasefire and an end to their settlements. Every new dead Palestinian and day without peace only proves to the Palestinian people that Hamas is right in how to deal with Israel. Israel either loses its Zionist goals or it gets bigger, more vengeful forms of Hamas.

This all occurred in the West Bank before 10/07, this year:

Girl no one is even talking about that pathetic flag raising. I'm talking about the public executions by the common public without a trial. These people stay following the sharia and the medieval thinking...

You wouldn’t say that about a Ukrainian passing information to Russia, would you? :skull:

But you are OK with public hangings? This is the one state Palestine you want to form?

Palestinians: *attack and kill fellow civilians who are accused of spying and planning attacks on Palestinians for Israel*

Americans: "This is why Israel deserves to bomb them"

Ukrainians: *attack and kill fellow civilians who are accused of spying and planning attacks on Ukrainians for Russia*

Americans: "These Russian stoogesd just ****** up big time! Read for more!"

Hmm, I wonder why the difference in tone.

Of course needless violence is upsetting. Westerners as a populace do not have the moral standing to feign outrage at needless violence though.

Liberals seem to be ok with indiscriminate carpet bombings that kill tens of thousands and displace hundreds of thousands more. You have zero moral high ground here.

If people felt Palestinians were dehumanized, they definitely gave them a good reason. There are certainly no public hangings in any democracy. When we do that, we can talk about moral equivalence.

Are we doing hangings of our own population though? That's like 19th century barbaric. And west is not carpet bombing any random country. Israel is  literally at war with Palestine.

Again, there is no meaningful, material difference between hanging people and trying to set the house they're in on fire to burn them alive, as multiple groups of Ukrainian mobs are described as doing, and that's just what Western media were willing to cover (with glowing praise):

They publically hang their own citizens now and then they'll do this to the Israelis and the gays in the future hypothetical one state Palestine. This is the literal ISIS playbook! @GhostBox
