I mean it is literally written in the Quran that talking trees will tell muslims where jews are hiding so they can be killed. if this is what muslims are being taught from a young age, plus the fact that palestinian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon tried to topple governments to install an islamic government, I’d be very apprehensive of a one state solution too

The Quran also stated that Jews are very arrogant to the point they will destroy and claim everything (which they are doing it right now in Gaza) so are you telling me that the prophecy is real? Remember that they even claim the rain is their property too

literally can’t make this **** up. don’t get me wrong i’ve grown up knowing all about Israel’s dirty tactics so this isn’t exactly shocking but this just feels so unreal with what they’re trying to spread to the entire world while they’ve already been exposed. literally everyone is Hamas at this point :rip:

The desperation to try and find a way to portray their destruction of everyone and everything as necessary to stop Hamas 💀 it’s crazy to me anyone buys this stuff but here we are I guess

religion is truly trash :skull:. 3/4 of the worlds population being suckers and killing each other over their beliefs taught from fictional books is mind blowing to me.

Unbelievable footage

A great thread breakdown of why this is significant.

This isn’t “literally written in the Quran”, it’s a Hadith.

And you’ve taken this wildly out of context. It is specifically describing a time of war against aggressors & soldiers of Dajjal - made up of people of all faiths - not innocent civilians & not exclusively Jewish. It foretells a war that will be fought alongside Jews & Christians against the false messiah, & after the second coming of Jesus. Literally, what is considered “the end of times”.

Muslim children are not taught to grow up to “kill Jews”, this is ridiculous. Islam is the only Abrahamic religion that recognises & holds mutual respect for both Judaism & Christianity, and considers their followers “people of the book”, just as they are.

This is not a religious battle for Palestinians - it’s a human rights struggle.

This isn’t a religious war for Israeli leaders - it’s a political & economical one.

This is however, a religious “war” for Zionist fanatics & Jewish fundamentalists.

I do not believe for one minute that religion does not a play a factor on the palestinian/ muslim side. many muslim countries teach that things like the holocaust never happened and is a lie. and the mass persecution of jews in arab countries in the 20th century backs up the animosity of muslims towards jews. 500 jews remain in arab countries from a pre-1947 population of 800 000. so  I would say yes, there is a huuge component of antisemitism at play for muslims. you have to be willfully looking the other way to not beleive this

This is why the Middle East especially Palestinians don’t take the west seriously. A couple days ago Spain talked about recognizing Palestine as a state and now here we are with one of the few pro Palestine vocal people within western government being removed from office. It’s all performative and no action.

Again, I don’t know why you choose to operate from such a limiting place of fear and ignorance, but this is categorically false.

Does antisemitism exist in the Arab world? Yes - antisemitism exists everywhere. This isn’t exclusive. And it isn’t right.

What you’re suggesting is that antisemitism & Holocaust denial is somehow baked into Arab institutions & educational curriculums - and that’s untrue. I grew up across both Lebanon and Kuwait & the Holocaust was acknowledged & taught in history classes just fine.

It makes no sense, as an Arab, to deny the holocaust - it’s an incredibly significant event in history that partly explains the existence of Israel today. Arabs are infinitely more educated & aware of the conditions that lead the current geopolitical conflict in the region, than most Westerners are - and that’s because they understand that it was Western actions, racism, antisemitism & discrimination that largely caused it.

Get her for me. Even as someone with a Muslim upbringing who doesn't identify as one anymore, I was never "taught from a young age" to grow up and "kill Jews". WTF. If anything, we were always taught that Jews =/= Zionists, even at school.

I have seen many Zionists taking that Hadith out of context to push their "Palestinians are barbaric and would kill all Jews in a one-state solution!" narrative. We CAN definitely address and talk about antisemitism in the Arab world (and sadly how it's mixed with Israel hatred), but this is not it and the motives behind it are very transparent.

i never said muslims are taught to kill jews, but definitely taught to not to trust them and depict them as shady characters.

hadith, quran, whatever. a prominent muslim writing said that trees will tell muslims where jews are hiding. If you cannot admit that there is antisemitism in your religion, just as I KNOW for certain there is antisemitism in mine, then that is on you. instead of blaming the west and how much smarter arabs are than westerners when it comes to jewish history, maybe you should try to change things from the inside out instead of blocking your ears saying "lalalala i cant hear you west BAD muslim education good". we dont get anywhere if we just push the blame around. own up. take responsibility. at least western christian countries can say they have worked on anti semitism and righting wrongs. i dont see any ownership of blame from muslim countries. just blaming. no thank you. thats not my style. nope.

Can you enlighten everyone just who does religious Jewish texts call for God's chosen people to *checks notes* "smite"?

Wasn't the initial plan to build the Jewish homeland in a British-settled Uganda literally ended because white British settlers rejected the notion of Jewish people taking land away from them?

I don't care. I don't take crazy stories written 2000 years ago seriously. and neither should the jews. But at least reform jews have acknowledged that these stories are not to be taken literally.

“Your religion” lol.

I don’t identify as Muslim. I’d sooner identify as a Satanist, love.

You want me to “take responsibility” for the world’s antisemitism?

The same “western Christian nations” whose “solution” to their Jewish population was to relocate them to the Middle East? Who now pray for the return of Jesus & their ultimate annihilation? Those Christian nations?

I don’t know what more to say to you, since you disregard accurate interpretation of religious text & you disregard an ex-Muslim in this threads experience of what they are taught & you disregard my own educational experience across 2 Arab nations.

You’ll never be Raichoo. Missing a few Thunderstones.

1903 girl bye. i don't have time for these 'both sides are equal I want to see ownership. not "but what about western countries in 1903?". Canada is trying to make up for the way they treated indigenous people (and there's still ways to go). America acknowledges its past treatement of slavery. Germany made an official apology to the Jewish community.

at the very least, we can say that these conversations about past atrocities can be had. here we are discussing them. it is at least in the public sphere. meanwhile, muslim countries still executing gays and atheists. still denying the armenian genocide. bye. i don't have time for these 'both sides are equal' I want to see ownership. not "but what about western countries?"

Love love love

Huh? Multiple government heads of Israel have cited religious passages in the last few weeks when calling for the extermination of Palestinians? This conflict literally is occurring because Zionism is a nationalist movement that exploits religious fanaticism that many Jewish people hold over a piece of land.

And so do billions of Muslims that live in peace across the world. No muslim being born in Indonesia or Malaysia or India for example is going to be born thinking Jews are the devil. You extend the benefit of doubt to everyone but Muslims so

Anyways the new generations across the world irrespective of religion are seeing the atrocities being committed by the oppressor state and will definitely hate them.
