He can. But it's ironic because Ukrainians currently have far more in common with Palestinians than they do with israelis.

And will this solidarity also be displayed in another online editorial Vogue cover or...?

Yeah what good is Palestine to him or Ukraine. He is standing with the ones who have the power. Pathetic really

I get your point but not at all. Ukraine has the backing of the whole West. Palestine only has the backing of Hamas, which is a high price.

If worse comes to worse. Could near by countries offer Palestinian refugees access? There’s almost 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Couldn’t Egypt, Lebanon, or Jordan take some in?

None of those countries want anything to do with this situation plus they also are struggling to provide for their own citizens at the moment. So probably not, unfortunately.

Okay, you're telling me that you're still shocked and outraged by the fake beheading of babies that was debunked and proven to have been propagated by the Israeli military, reported by an ignorant and irresponsible journalist, and immediately disseminated by the world's largest media outlets in the United States and Europe...

.....but you have no problem with the widely documented incineration of Palestinians with white phosphorous which is a violation of International Law. Are Palestinian children really less worthy of your rage and sympathy? Do you even hear yourself?

Not sure if this is supposed to be towards me, but if it is

1- Nothing has been "debunked" regarding that story, as it has been confirmed by government officials and reported by outlets such as a CNN. If you choose not to believe it, that's your prerogative. I'm done discussing this topic.

2- As for the the second part of your post, I've never made such claim so I suggest you retract it.

Egypt is currently dealing with one of the worst inflation and economic downturns in history and already hosting displaced refugees such as Syria. I don't think can take in 2 million refugees unfortunately.

Lebanon never recovered from its civil war and is a failed state with Hezbollah basically in control of the south of the country.

Jordan wants nothing to do with Palestine anymore after they expelled the PLO from their country for attempting to coup their king and government.

Thanks. I guess I understand Egypt. And thinking about it. Egypt is not in the best position as all the countries surrounding it are in a state of turmoil. So the country is not in a good position to take in more people.

But there’s the Saudis who see themselves as the leader of the Muslim world, and all the Gulf Countries which are also very stable and wealthy.

I just don’t think it’s right to see people in a potential crisis whose land is basically going to be destroyed and do nothing. Especially as those countries have the ability to take on potential refugees.

Iran and Qatar are actively funding and influencing Hamas' actions, but are always nowhere to be seen when it comes to helping the innocent Gazans who ultimately pay the price. I don't get why there's no pressure on them.

The way some people in this thread are naturalizing that Palestinians should flee their home thinking about which countries can receive them is horrible.

Those trying to argue there's no need to provide evidence because "there's no meaningful distinction between what has been confirmed elsewhere and this anyways" seem to forget that the issue of why it is meaningful is that clearly such war crimes can and should demand investigation by the ICC, but that again brings us back to Israel refusing to recognize the ICC and its authority due to not wanting to be held accountable to their own crimes.

It’s now confirmed over 260 children in Gaza have been killed by Israeli forces within the past 4 days

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/11/how-are-children-in-gaza-affected-by-the-israel-hamas-war

I wonder if Western media/politicians (or the Zionists in here such as @Gui Blackout & @ZIVERT) are gonna condemn the killings of these 260 children the way y’all condemned the 260 civilians who were killed at that festival? *highly doubt it*

I guess the part where she says, "women and children have been killed." Isn't enough. She literally reinforces that statement twice. Fake beheading, but real bady body bag  being brought out. I mean whatever makes you righteous I guess.

What you posted does not say it been debunked. It says they are not confirming or denying it yet.

Do you seriously believe the 2 million+ Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip (most of them living in poverty) simply have the means to just buy a flight ticket and go to Iran or Qatar?

They will not condemn them because those  children in Gaza were not beheaded just bombed.

Fake. Lies. Debunked by the Israeli forces and journalists already. Of course, this happens after endless international outlets have picked it up already.

Iran would not take them due to religious differences. Iran is majority Shia. They also have issues with Arabs. So I don’t think Iran would offer any assistance.

Qatar I do agree with.

Pressure on them to do what? They have no control over the conflict outside of arming their preferred side. No different than the US.

They definitely could, but for them the Palestinians are nothing but political pawns in a regional conflict. In the end, nobody actually cares about the Palestinian victims who have no say in this. Not Israel. Not their supposed Arab "brothers".

It’s not. They quite literally are going to need assistance. And there’s going to be people who do not want to fight, who just want to live in peace. People that want that are going to flee. It happens in every place that has had conflict. Not to mention the US asked Israel to give free passage.

Imagine reading a tweet in which a journalist fact checks her report confirming that women and toddlers were indeed killed and your first reaction is "Where are the 40 decapitated babies I was promised???" :rip:

Yeah, I never believed the claims of the decapitations of babies and was immediately weary of the claims.

Now stop bringing it up in order to gain sympathy from people to be more pro-israel. Which is its main goal. To create a fabricated story so profoundly egregious that anyone who is on the fence about which "side" to take or even agnostic on the war, instantly moves someone to being anti-Palestine because in their mind, 'Palestinians are beheading babies.'

israel, however, actually murders kids in cold blood. They're doing it now, in fact. And commits back-to-back war crimes like the starvation of Palestinian kids. But zionists won't "cry" about that, of course. But yet they're moved by a manufactured story of Hamas killing multiple babies. And even then, it still doesn't compare to the deceased kids of Palestine. Again, the racism isn't even overt.

Gaza is their home. They want and deserve to live there in peace, not in Egypt. Is their right. Fleeing is not a solution. What must happen is for Israel to stop indiscriminately bombing the strip and allow humanitarian assistance and restore services.

Again, I'm done with this back and forth because no source or news will be good enough. Debunking this particular story seems to be the hill you and others want to die on, so by all means have at it.

There is a huge difference between "babies were beheaded" and "babies were killed". Literally not a single soul here is denying the latter? It's still ******* awful.

It is however very important to point out that the former fabricated claim was made to portray Palestinians as "barbaric, violent, and blood-thirsty Arabs" giving Israel an easy "excuse" that they’ll use for committing further genocide against Palestinian children, women, and civilians.

Notice how this fake claim already has more reports internationally than the +260 children killed in Gaza.

They are not going to have a home after this if that Israel leader has anything to do with it.
