Hamas is the government in the Gaza Strip, when they got into power the blockade started. This is about weapons not getting in. It isn't about citizens getting out. And with the bloodbath that's about to happen in the next following days, I wouldn't be surprised if militia groups in Syria and Iraq decide to join in too. Iran will inevitably get involved as well and assuming they do, this would be the perfect chance for the US to capitalize off that. This will also most likely cause turmoil in other Arab countries in the middle east as the population will not sit and watch all of this unfold without any radical reaction from their leaders. There will never be peace in that region and this is just gonna destabilize the living hell out of it.

I don't know what Saudi will do but recent reaction suggested they won't support Israel so they probably try to stay out of the conflict.

The territorial dispute between Israel and Palestine is a different topic. Hamas is committing some of the worst crimes against humanity I've seen.
