Jjang Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) Israeli culture is waking up in the morning to make coffee and watch the news tell you that it’s valid to kill children as young as 4 year olds because “they’re involved with Hamas” as the European news anchor and her mesta’rev puppet (Israeli Jews who pretend to be Arab) laugh and giggle at those remarks. and then you continue on with your day, because that’s not even top 1000 most unhinged statements made on Israeli news channels unironically. What a sick ROTTEN society. Edited February 18 by Jjang 8
DAP Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Hmmm really good question! Maybe she should ask her husband. He seems more experienced with silencing rape victims. 1
Popular Post Nova_23 Posted February 18 Popular Post Posted February 18 more and more people especially politicians need to come out and call it exactly what it is. 18
Specter Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Yep. If, at this point, you still want to posture as if what the Zionist government is doing to Palestinians is unlike the Nazis, then you frankly have no place in the discourse anymore. Enough. All the nuance and grace people were — perhaps rightfully — given when they expressed hesitation over the framing that Israeli Jews engaging in the genocide were literally mimetically enacting Nazi like behaviour needs to be recalled. It is simply a rhetorical trick to once again weaponize the past to justify the erasure of the present and future of millions. Enough. 9

ZeroSuitBritney Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Today was day 1 of 6 at the ICJ regarding Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine. Over 50 countries are expected to make statements. 2 cases at the ICJ currently against Israel. L after L.
LIT Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Hopefully more and more states will follow. Israel should become a pariah state for its crimes against humanity. 6
constantinople Posted February 19 Posted February 19 this is so funny because we don't rely on Israel. They're not even at the top 10 of our export partners. Netanyahu can cry and choke. That's why Lula don't give a **** 1

Never felt more proud of my vote than today! Neoliberalism is a disease intrinsic to the foundation of post-dictatorship politics in Brazil. Our neocolonial mainstream media and right-wing parties are already working tirelessly to assassinate Lula's character and label this stance as a diplomatic failure, so I'm glad Lula (and ultimately, the Workers' Party) isn't backtracking. I just wish his administration were as consistently progressive in its domestic policies as it is in foreign affairs, but that's not a conversation for this thread. My heart is with Lebanese Brazilians today, arguably the largest Lebanese diaspora outside of the Middle East, who, despite being mostly Christian, have had to deal with the everyday repercussions of the Hezbollah scare in Brazil motivated by unclear claims of imminent terrorist threat, often made by the US/Israel. As I'm already reading all over my feed, I can only imagine how good it feels to see Brazil considering ending diplomatic relations with Israel, especially when many of them still have family ties to South Lebanon, which is increasingly being bombarded by Israel. 52 minutes ago, constantinople said: this is so funny because we don't rely on Israel. Chemist Posted February 19 Posted February 19 The US trying to save face after blocking like 100 UN resolutions (earlier in the war when it mattered more) but at least another L for Israel
