McDonalds franchises elsewhere in the world have littlw impact on what McDonalds franchises in Israel are doing. The point of that part of the note is to say McDonalds franchises in Israel may be acting of their own accord here, including the McDonalds Israel account. Thus it doesn't actually make much of an impact to boycott your local McDonalds over what McDonalds franchises are doing half the world away. And it straight up doesn't make any sense to actively disrupt those businesses and create problems for the mininmum wage workers they employ (as has been happening a lot). The best we can hope for as an outcome of the boycott is for... McDonalds corporate to prevent Israeli Mcdonalds franchisees from giving food to the IDF? Is that really worth much? Boycotts of like, SodaStream or other BDS listed busnisses make sense, but the McDonalds and Starbucks boycotts have both been pretty surface level and social-media outrage driven from the start. 2
