Another thing the media is purposefully ignoring and not reporting are the top  newspapers in Israel calling for Netanyahu to go. They blamed him for the attack too. Yesterday Israelis protested against him calling him a murderer and apparently he’s losing support.

The media is making it appear as if he has all this popularity and support which is not 100% accurate nor the full story. No context whatsoever.

Israelis are also disappointed and in fear with their government not considering any negations for victims (that were captured by Hamas) to be returned back.

The recent Biden tweet shows that the overall narrative is shifting against Israel, and is a tacit disagreement with those disgusting statements weve seen from Israeli leaders.

Keep pushing harder online, and also attend protests, even if you're like me and you have some disagreements with certain groups within overall free Palestine banner. Its not important - its descalation at all costs right now and we need our Western leaders pushing back against Israel

That's the left wing of Israel that's protesting. The right wing is lock step with him.

Yes this is true. It’s a combination of things however so much context is missing in mainstream discussion to our detriment.

What defenders of Israel have convinced themselves of: "Israel wants 1M Palestinians to leave so that they can engage in safe, targeted one on one combat with Hamas! The world's most moral army!"

What Israeli intelligence is openly bragging as what they have planed:

The same liberals who were rightfully outraged over Trump dropping GBU-43/B MOABs on Afghanistan are now complicit in silence over the reality that Israel will soon drop the very same bombs, that they only could have gotten from the US, onto Gazans.

I see all the comments saying this is a good thing but isn’t this still just manipulation to force Palestinians south and pack them into a smaller geographical area?

It is. But it will save their lives too, because Israel is planning to flatten North Gaza.

You know what would also save their lives? Israel not bombing them.

I understand that, it’s just weird seeing how positively it’s being received when they’re still forcing evacuation of the north and cutting off resources. I guess something is better than nothing

Of course. But this is war now.

And lbr his actions in Gaza are much more likely to get people taken hostages killed than safe home. He and his government are clearly much more eager to hurt Palestinians than getting those Israeli citizens back home safe.

It is being "positively received" by Westerners whose livelihoods are based on the subjugation of the Global South and whose governments have spent the last week demanding every man, woman and child "condemn Hamas" in order to manufacture consent for the eventual genocide of Palestine which has always been the goal of the Israeli project.

There is a very good documentary I found in Netflix that shows the devastation in Gaza after the last Israeli assault there, it's called "Born in Gaza". There is no Portuguese subtitles, but it was still among the most watched yesterday in Brazil. It's amazing to see Palestinians being depicted as humans, in contrast to most major western media

to me it is confirmation that Israel plans to level Gaza city with more serious weaponry

it is absolutely abhorrent ethnic cleansing but it is still in civillians best interests to move south, it is not the right path to encourage people to stay as I am seeing some do

Netanyahu told that Likud conference that he always wanted Western conflation of all Palestinians with Hamas to make the whittling away of the West Bank easier. They serve as the perfect foil for that purpose.

If the IDF really does follow through with Northern Gaza carpet bombings (as opposed to ground troops), all of Hezbollah mobilizes, then Iran and Saudi Arabia get involved and the world’s ****ed.

Some IDF general said off the record the backlash for essentially a mass Gaza leveling would be too great for even the U.S. but at this point I don’t buy that.

I guess the next week will determine next steps for the entire region.

I never believed a two-state solution was possible in my lifetime so I never invested too much energy in this conflict - at this point I’m focusing on other players not getting drawn in.

This is so disgusting. I’m at a complete loss for words for how horrific this is.  Forcing people out of their homes under penalty of death to satisfy Israel’s desire for revenge is depraved and animalistic.
