It’s understandable for people to not believe the Israeli media because all they do is spread lies and propaganda at the expense of Palestinian lives. As shown in the tweet above^.

While it wasn’t morally sound for the user to call those pictures AI generated, all you’ve been doing is tagging people and quoting tweets in a desperate bid to clock someone. It’s like you’ve been blatantly disrupting the conversation, ignoring the overall dynamics of the situation and preventing it from moving on.

I sympathise with the innocent babies killed in Israel but you don’t seem to aknowledge that the suffering in Gaza has exceeded beyond inhumane levels and will continue to do so.

Could you expand on what you mean by this? It says right there in the article that those are Palestinian children.

Is there one person in here who is capable of admitting that both sides fight dirty, and condemning both? Is there one person who can say that treacherous the Israeli government is interested in wiping out Palestine from the face of the earth and that Hamas is a radical jihadist terror group with an expected penchant for barbarism and bloodshed?

Because all I see is I’m right, you’re wrong, they started it, no they started it, Israel is defending itself, Israel deserved it after 70 years. There is no justification for the Israeli government’s actions in the past and present; there is no justification for Hamas’ means of attack.

Israel is a violent oppressive occupier and apartheid state and Hamas is a terrorist organization with no respect for any human life. Condemn them both. What is defending Netanyahu or a terrorist organization doing for you?

The issue is, one atrocity has brought about a justification for another atrocity, that has been confounded with the shedding of light on the daily atrocities that the Palestinians have  had to live with, that received little to no attention/support of this scale, up and until, seemingly, it began to bring Western hegemonies complicity & hypocrisy into question. So people, justifiably, feel the need to compensate, heavily.

This topic has been brought up in my daily life over the last few days, with people I’d never thought I’d be discussing it with & I’ve had to come to terms with just how little knowledge or insight the lay person actually has on the  issue, where/how they consume their news of world events & just how easily persuaded to either side someone without a natural curiosity, need for questioning, or media literacy can be.

On top of all of that, slogans like “I stand with xxx” pushed by the media & leaders, incite & pressure masses to “pick a side”, only furthering tensions. I will note though, that “I stand with Palestine” does not mean “I am dismissive of Jewish suffering”, it’s a recognition of the voiceless, but it’s being disingenuously interpreted as a support for terror - because Palestinians cannot be allowed a voice. They cannot be allowed to be seen as suffering or humanised. Only as provoking or complicit and “deserving”.

The media has not now and not ever, been equal about its representation or accurate reporting on this matter & the influx of debunked propaganda by the Israeli state, has not helped or worked in their favour. The factual terror was enough. Very quickly, it turned into a clear push for exaggerated narratives, to justify Netenyahu’s genocidal ambitions.

You know, it would be a lot easier to condemn things like this that Canary Mission posts if Israel was not using it as justification to commit genocide.

You are missing the point.  The point of this video is to promote war, hatred, prejudice, murder, and further violence.  I categorically denounce any actions or promotions of hatred and violence, and I hope you would do the same.

i wanna say one thing to everyone in here

im against zionism, the idea of jews having their own jewish state and after being kicked out by the white population (british) and promised them a new state, jews are more than welcome to come to palestine live and worship and apply for citizenship and **** like how it goes in everywhere in the world

but coming to my house kicking me out of it and not in peace too and then trying to reach peace by giving me 30% of what i own and starting to send settlers to jerusalem to expand their territory after the UN claimed its an international territory BECAUSE ITS HOLY SIGHT FOR THE JEWS, MUSLIMS and CHRISTIANS.

the guys who support ethnicity cleansing and cheering for the thousands and thousands of injured and killed because IDF needs to protect themselves from what?

the people they’re fighting doesn’t even have a military hows that fair???

ITS CALLED PALESTINE BEFORE AND IT WILL BE CALLED THAT NO MATTER HOW YOU GUYS TRY TO EARSE HISTORY.

Palestinians deserve a better defense than these animals.

But how many times do we have to add "Hamas is awful and killing innocent babies is a crime" as a *DISCLAIMER* to our posts? How many times do we have to repeat that any innocent civilians dying is absolutely horrific

Not a single pro-Palestine poster here has defended the killing of innocent civilians. Meanwhile, we have people justifying the ethnic cleansing and bombing of 1M Gazans because..well they refused to listen to the warning and leave?

Providing context about the historical formation of Hamas, its funding, and how it rose to power =/= supporting it and downplaying its crimes. Our contextualization of current events isn't and will never be an endorsement.

And trying to blame the Palestinians collectively for the actions of Hamas is nothing short of absurd given the last election they had was 17 years ago. Less than half of the population voted. This whole framing of Palestinians being the same as Hamas seems very similar to the framing of Muslims being the same as the Al-Qaeda terrorists and an easy way to deflect from the one and only oppressor: Israel.

The amount of morally unsound people who have convinced themselves that it’s okay to bomb civilians and take away their basic human rights as long as they get a warning.

That’s literally now the only defense these people have against the atrocities the IDF is committing. They can no longer lie about what’s going on, so they’ll instead justify the genocide of the Palestinians by saying “well Israel gave them 24 hour notice.”

Like do these people hear themselves? Do they have a self conscious or is their guilt getting them so deep that it’s twisted them into these evil people that will justify the murder of innocent civilians against by saying “well they got a warning.”

This is literally insane and inhumane.

THIS!!!   The Israeli, like any other group of people have every right to free movement. (Within reason and accounting for nuance of course)  And I personally don’t believe the Palestinians have a right to restrict that free movement (within reason and accounting for nuance of course).  But no one has the right to seek the eradication of another people, to forcefully remove them from their homes, treat them as second class citizens, take away their rights, and indiscriminately murder them.

Anyone not seeking the respect for human life and peace is not something that should be permitted.

The point of the video is to show people in a major US city openly cheering a terrorist attack. It's not that deep.

Did you even google the source?  Their goal is to antagonize Palestinian solidarity.  The organization’s goal is not peace.

Oh, we're posting tweets about extremists cheering for genocide?

I hope that by now, you'll realize that it's a pointless angle to address and focus on the fact that there are people actually dying on both sides...

Palestinians asking to not be murdered and just have their basic human rights given back to them doesn’t spark a conversation with the Israeli apologists.  Their response is classic  “but Hamas,” like no your government is terrorizing these people. Not Hamas.

Hamas has been called out and condemned from every inch of this earth but Israel has not been. And anyone who condemns Israel is called an anti-semite and here in lies the problem with trying to have a country founded on religion because if you question the government people thinking you’re against their religion.

I have zero issues with Jewish people. My issues are with the Israeli government and the people who stand for genocide of Palestinians by supporting that government and their actions against Palestinians.

Will you post about the Palestinians who were actually attacked in Brooklyn the last several days by Israeli supporters or does that not fit your narrative of making Israelis perpetual victims even when they’re being the oppressors? Or how about the videos of the Israeli supporters in NYc openly calling for the genocide of Gaza?

You keep trying to deflect but at the end of the day Israel is committing war crimes. We aren’t falling for the deflection anymore.

Sorry but focusing this much on the account and not the actual content that speaks for itself is incredibly disingenuous.

Depending on the situation I might. You’d have to be more specific. But just because I support a government in one situation doesn’t mean I pledge my allegiance to them. I don’t blindly follow or support any government even the government in the country i live in because I realized a long time ago no government is truly for the people so for me it’s very situational.

It’s a country of over 300 million people.  If your political agenda so requires, you can find anyone professing any type of view if you look hard enough.  It’s a common right wing tactic in American politics.  They will go out searching for individuals who “cross the line” or are “shocking” as justification to promote hatred for an entire group.

This happens all the time against LGBT individuals, and thus it is pretty easy to spot the tactics.
