They don't need to physically branch out in order to still radicalize people abroad. Their ideals travel far and away, especially in todays social media age. It's just like ISIS.

Perhaps, but this mindset is not exclusive to Hamas. Even if actions are taken tomorrow, they are not directly funded or stemming from Hamas is what I’m saying. It’s just part of the same rulebook as other extremist organizations.

Israel won’t stop till they kill every last Palestinian in Gaza, seize it and then they’ll build homes there and an actual genocide will have happened while the world watched and funded.

It’s so sad. Israel needs to be sanctioned for its decades of war crimes against Palestinians. Soon Palestinian people won’t even exist. A whole ethnicity people murdered by the evil Israeli state.

wait there was training camps IN the Gaza strip and they still didn't see this coming with the hundreds of drones that fly over Gaza daily? :rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip::rip:

Prominent Harvard University alumni on Monday denounced the pro-Palestinian statement in which a coalition of 34 Harvard student organizations said they "hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence" following decades of occupation, adding that "the apartheid regime is the only one to blame."

No mention of Hamas apparently in the students' statement.

Hamas is a product of Israeli occupation and apartheid. Yes ofc they are terrible but students shouldn't have to add that to denounce genocide and colonisation.

I some how got labelled as anti semitic at work today for telling my co workers their beloved Israeli government is equally if not more evil than Hamas.

The attack is literally making so many Jewish people have a revisionist history on their governments atrocities and it’s sad seeing people I previously viewed as intelligent as terrifying Zionist.

It’s hilarious how you continue to post lies & fake news in order to garner sympathy for the State of Israel and Zionism.

Thankfully, most people in this thread are not falling for the bullshit.

Whether you like it or not, safety concerns for Jewish comunities around the world are entirely legitimate. People are rightly angry about the atrocities currently being committed in Gaza and that anger could spill over into stupid, pointless violence. It's not without precedent. I would agree that that user is posting propaganda though

---

We knew that it would happen, but what is unfolding now is an humanitarian disaster of tragic proportions. Palestinian dead now outnumber Israeli dead - are you satisfied, Bibi? Western nations must now have the courage to speak against Israel's actions - I am glad to see Ireland being among the first. Many have asked for restraint including my country but we need more: its time for calls for a ceasefire. But I fear that won't happen. Ugh

Truly scary to think how deep this all could go.  Has Hamas secretly been working to infiltrate the US or other countries to plan similar massacres? :mazen:

This is why people feel the need to push back on "PALESTINIANS ARE JUST MAD ISLAMISTS!!!" rhetoric despite not agreeing with what Hamas did. Because it takes literally an astounding amount of ignorance to just be as out of sync with factual reality as you are. Why would Hamas attack America? You are aware that they've never attacked any country besides Israel....right?

This is the desired outcome of Israeli propaganda and the framing of this not being a conflict but a terrorist attack and convincing Westerners that HAMAS = ISIS.

It's not enough to just get people to feel "I get they want liberation but this will never be the way". You've really been propagandized into thinking "HAMAS isn't just coming after Israel, they're illogical Arab animals and are gonna come after me!!". It's proud ignorance to not even know what half the groups you fear even want or desire or believe in.

We are literally reliving the War on Terror as a means to whitewash Israel to where you sound no different from people in the early 2000s not knowing the difference between the Taliban and Al-Qaeda and making claims that the Taliban - a group that has exclusively operated within the borders of Afghanistan - were going to sneak into the US southern border with the help of cartels and use deadly drugs to mass kill patriotic Americans and thus we must also deport all illegal immigrants!!!!!!11111. BUILD THE WALL!!!!111 Nothing has been learned. :skull:

Saying this as someone who is pro-Palestine, this is not surprising. College is the time a lot of my peers tried to absolve themselves of their guilt for growing up white and rich and for a few of them it definitely crossed the line. Overall though I think the pro-Israel demonstrations have been much more incendiary (see: point blank calling for genocide)

OT: Recent videos from Gaza are extremely disturbing. I can’t really remember the last time a news event felt like it was drawing out in real time. Maybe Ukraine but after Russia demonstrated that they are completely incompetent (~4 days) it didn’t feel as engaging.

So... uhm... what you're telling us is that deliberately antagonized your Jewish co-workers who are likely still grieving, made a ridiculous and offensive false equivalence, tried to somehow lay blame on them for a government's actions... and think you came out of that situation as the victim?

Please spare the buzzwords. They have no basis in reality. Harping about "displacement" when the current population of the entire Israel + Palestine is north of 15 million. You know what it was in 1948? 2 million. Your insistence of a lack of space, whether it be in Alaska, a state nearly 2.5x the size of Texas...which itself is 25x the size of Israel:rip:, or Israel + Palestine, betrays either your lack of imagination or a fundmental misunderstanding of geographical space.

Ew at the tone of this post.

For someone that felt the need to awkwardly scream “you’re resorting to buzzwords!!!”, your use of a Ben Shapiro’d fallacy, that consists in using the demographic growth of Palestinians to shrug off conversations about the ongoing legacy of the Nakba, reads like it comes from someone deliberately misunderstanding the United Nations Commission of Experts definition of “ethnic cleansing” in order to troll. I'm sure anyone can probably hear the bolded part of your post in a corny “Destroying woke pro-palestine activists with logic and facts!” zionist video uploaded somewhere online.

Being upset over Israel being called out for domicide by many credible international institutions, or perhaps reducing domicide to a “buzzword”, won’t change the *material reality* faced by Palestinian refugees living in places such as the Gaza Strip, often described as an open-air prison, which includes inhumane conditions such as having access to drinkable water constantly denied. It also won’t change the fact that such violent reality is responsible to push the youth even further down the radicalization route in a never-ending cycle, as we’ve also seen with other former colonial regimes. Those dynamics are unsustainable and that has basis in reality.

To the zionists in here, What’s the justification for the 40 people killed in the West Bank? Is Hamas lodged in there?

We are still waiting for them to reply but SILENCE

There’s absolutely nothing terrifying about the pro-Palestinian rallies and protests we’ve been seeing in Western college campuses this past week.

Because of Ireland's own history, it's generally been more pro-Palestine. Even though Leo is Fine Gael - who descend from an organization that was more sympathetic to the Brits, it's interesting to see his statement.

Generations of Palestinians being exiled from their homes and some of yall have the nerve to say it’s a ridiculous and false equivalence. Let’s use the brain a bit

I mean… you went to Jewish people immediately after a traumatic incident and tried to place blame on their government (which they probably personally took as a blame on Israelis in general).

Its like going to Japan after the atomic bombs and being like “well your government isn’t any better and did join axis powers and committed horrible crimes like Pearl Harbor”

Pearl Harbor was a military base, not a civilian city. Not even remotely the same thing.

Nanjing would be a more appropriate comparison, and that didn't even happen to the self-righteous country that nuked them.

I am not sure what you are even referring to, but I will say as I have always said, violence is horrible and the US should not be supporting either terrorist organizations on both sides of this issue.
