Likingstars Posted January 26 Posted January 26 2013 me would never think JT could release something this bland 1

Zero support, doing fine-ish on AM, cuz there the support since this morning is much better.

MatiRod Posted January 26 Posted January 26 It sounds like it’s tailor-made for radio. I’m surprised he didn’t release the song teased on the NFL ad though, it sounded more like a lead single, more bombastic.
GreatestLoveofAll Posted January 26 Posted January 26 i dont care for it on first listen but i dont think its terrible tbh
Taste of Honey Posted January 27 Posted January 27 This sounds like it came out in 2008, but ok I guess.
DammnBaby Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Regardless of quality, releasing a song called "Selfish" just before the 20th anniversary of the SuperBowl, shorty after Britney fillets you in her memoir just screams marketing genius.
rihannasbe$tfrnd Posted January 27 Posted January 27 This song is really cute idk what you girls want, another flop lead like “filthy”?! He is pushing 50 years old and yal want him gyrating and trying to act young Grandma Minaj? 1
Jude Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Okay loved it at first but after a few listens I'm tired of it already.

Starkboy Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Debuts at #48 on the global daily Apple Music chart. Spotify most listened artists on January 26th: #64 (+33) USA *new peak #64 (+10) New Zealand *new peak #74 (+7) Australia #77 (+35) Canada *new peak #84 (+37) Denmark *new peak #94 (+88) Norway *new peak #95 (+19) UK #98 (+46) WW *new peak #126 (+48) Belgium #132 (+56) Netherlands #134 (RE) Sweden #137 (+45) Switzerland *new peak #158 (RE) Germany *new peak
Starkboy Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Debuts #31 on Spotify USA with 762,879 #92 on Spotify WW with 1,625,103 that's actually better than I expected global numbers are weak but the US ones are actually good. probably a 2M debut had it been added to TTH. #44 Norway 28k #63 Denmark 18k #72 Canada 72k #75 Sweden 37k #75 Switzerland 13k #93 Netherlands 39k #96 Germany 118k #152 Finland 11k #164 UK 85k
Nashe Posted January 27 Posted January 27 ww numbers are beyond tragic, US is decent! hopefully it picks up cuz the song is good
Gossip_Boy Posted January 27 Posted January 27 This is doing a lot better than I thought it would streaming wise (at least in the US). Idk maybe it’s because that song with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland did absolutely nothing but I was expecting J.Lo-ish numbers. Shows there’s still interest for him as an artist. They could actually push it. Though this album is probably more of an excuse to get back on tour than anything else.
Green Posted January 27 Posted January 27 The Apple Music numbers are better than expected. US Apple Music 60 NEW Justin Timberlake - Selfish If this has the same airplay support than the Nsync song it could have debuted top 15 considering that Nsync didn't even chart on spotify or apple and it debuted at #25 because of radio and sales.
SugarfallB Posted January 27 Posted January 27 poor me always hoping he would bring FSLS concept back. and poor him for not having a clue what works for him "selfish" has no replay value
