Since when was it illegal to record a phone call?? 
 

I’m a Taylor fan but talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. The public forgot about this and moved on after a few weeks. 
 

It’s her who catastrophized the whole thing in her head. She didn’t need to make an entire album about it then and certainly doesn’t need to dwell on it now

That would be since California Penal Code 632 was made law in 1967. California is one of eleven two-party consent states in the US, where recording a phone call without the consent of both (or rather, all) parties is illegal.

Tbh, I always felt like there was something off about the phone call and it was so gross how so many people immediately jumped to Kim and Kanye's side and called Taylor a snake.

Did she really delete it right after this happened or did she delete it because she deleted all her photos before announcing reputation?

Hmm.. I don’t think Taylor had any personal beef with Rih, seems like she just wanted credit and some vindication post-break up with Calvin and he kinda had a meltdown :deadbanana2:

 

Like I’m a Rih stan down, but I think her and Taylor really only admire each other from afar and nothing more. The Katy example is more fair tho.

I don’t agree that people ‘sided’ with her. It was more that swifties stay stay stayed, and the media realized there was more money to be had by siding with her than going against her, as swifties are really quite loyal. Think about all the artists who debuted after her that could not maintain their own successes.
