ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted November 23, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted November 23, 2023 I love that my bf is not really into lifting / working out bc it keeps me grounded. so yes. 1
GeeDuval Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 Don’t they usually go for twinks that look like detox and trinity the tuck, full of Botox cause they’re scared of aging or winkles ? bye
Dante Silva Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 Being a natural mesomorph I consider myself above those who unlike me, are committed to the gym who don’t possess that genetic advantage. I have always enjoyed geeks and jocks, but would never lick a geek.
alexrex Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 Why is gay world so shallow? In the sha ah shallow, in the shala shalalalallow 1
John Slayne Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 a twink here, currently in a relationship with a guy who works out and is strong, but not that defined. it doesn't bother me, i think he's attractive the way he is. i think looks are more important for hookups, a serious relationship is more about personality than looks. a guy that is funny, interested, and treats you right >>>>>> 2
TheCheshireCat Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 Side ramble: I've seen a few muscle gays recently have meltdowns on twitter because Dad Bods are becoming more desirable and their crown is ever so slightly threatened, which has been very telling. Some interesting social psychology going on there, like they need to feel like they are better, not for themselves and their health but they literally need to feel like they are above others and can demand that of their sexual partners in order to feel like all that chicken breast and juicing was worth it. I'm personally not into guys who spend a ton of time "perfecting" their bodies because it comes off as a very feminine trait and I tend to be attracted to guys who just live a decently healthy lifestyle and don't stress about their bodies. 1

getback Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 I doubt all the guys saying yes are being truthful most muscular gays literally only hang out with other muscular gays (maybe with some bears mixed in for "diversity") 2 1

I know a straight guy like that too, he is obsessed with getting his body to be perfect and when he hears/sees that some beautiful women prefer slightly chubby guys or twinkish built guys he cannot accept it. He starts saying that is wrong, they are clearly lying or there is something wrong with those women, they are wrong. (To be fair I'm pretty sure he is a little autistic lol)
Carla Rosón Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 95% wouldn't (unless they have money) lbr

He starts saying that is wrong, they are clearly lying or there is something wrong with those women, they are wrong. (To be fair I'm pretty sure he is a little autistic lol) oh it definitely exists among other demographics (incels are notoriously obsessed with facial/body aesthetics), but i think on average gay guys are a lot more prone to fall into this. there's several reasons, but i think a part of it is the psychological need to feel equal/superior to your peers. we as gays grow up in a society that tells us that we are lesser than our straight counterparts, so many of us feel the drive to be 'better than average' in some ways - some gays channel this into their careers, while others obsessively work out to prove a point. it also works as a defense mechanism against othering - if i can work out and look big/strong/muscular/straight-passing, i don't need to concern myself with homophobia as it doesn't apply to me, and in its uglier version this can also manifest as internalised homophobia and femme-shaming. 'yes i am gay, but not like those annoying effeminate gays, unlike them i am normal!'. it's the theory of freaks - every marginalised person has an instinctive desire to distance themselves from more marginalised people in their category to deflect the focus from themselves. it's the reason why straight-passing gays look down on fems, and why passing trans people look down on non-binary and non-passing trans people. it's a desperate effort to fit in with the oppressor in order to avoid persecution by throwing others like you under the bus. 3

When people get into the minutiae of wanting the tiniest bit of extra definition in the head of their left bicep or something, things have gone too far. 1
Tropez Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Wow didn’t know there were so many muscular guys on Atrl. Some people are lying. 2 2

Yeah probably only like 10% or less gays would be considered muscular. I think a lot of people just have low body fat and associate visible abs with being muscular.
Into The Void Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Now I know some of u r actually overweight like me.
Last Boy on Earth Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 (edited) I’m muscular and I **** skinnys twinks bears otters etc etc.. as long as its not too obese or too skinny .
