Swifties are divided over the silence of Taylor/Taylor Nation about the late Swiftie

Whew lord… the lawyers in here. In the states, giving money to the family can be used as evidence for an admission of guilt/fault in court, so it’s not as simple as the OTH wish it was.

Why are you quoting me with this when I'm genuinely just asking a question?

Stop what your doing. It's not ok.

I’m not doing anything. Actually, if anything, I’m not jumping to conclusions as we know close to nothing on this subject. I’ve said before that I’m disappointed that she didn’t do more, but I don’t understand how the legal part of this works, as some have said before. You’re just providing false information saying she’s banned from Brazil. Stop lying and bringing up other Pop girls into the conversation.

She'll obviously do something about this, she's probably just plotting a PR move that's gonna make her look as the hero in this situation (as per usual)

Exactly she made a mistake but she will forsure pretend its not her fault.

People using this to « expose » Taylor are sick. This is not her fault.

I don’t get why Taylor is getting hate for this? What am I missing?

Honestly it just seems like another case of fans building this holy image of their fave and then getting disappointed when said fave doesn’t reply as quickly as they’d like or use the verbiage they’d like.

Well. I hope this lets her decide to cancel the rest of the dates there since they hate her so much.

what are you even talking about? nothing about this is Taylor's fault. did you not see the video of her gasping for breath while performing?

you're truly unhinged and trying to make a name for yourself on atrl by spewing false information and projecting your terrible viewpoints.

go smell some grass.

Because some people, whether they like to admit it or not, are just targeting Taylor. Some haven’t even mentioned the fact that T4F plays a part in this too. The capacity of being impartial has left the building.

people actually blaming her for any of this are sick :rip:

Madonna had crew die while setting her stage back in the day.  No report or backlash about her not giving money for the funeral costs.

You are correct slightly. However that was the crew constructing the stage.

This event had weather warnings about heat and no water provided to people in the venue. This is forsure a huge legal issue. If there is a risk of danger then you are accountable. It's a no brainer.

And I also apologise for my earlier spelling and sentence structure. My auto correct is not the best.

That all said I feel terrible about the families that have lost loved ones.

I also understand why people want to be compensated because of the lack of judgement regarding the situation. Nobody wins.

Don’t forget something something because I’m a woman who serial dates

If this happened at one of her shows in America, I’m sure she’d respond very differently. Fake ass bih

Omg why that user not banned already? I mean its understandable to ask and judge why she didnt do more.

But completely blame the fan death on Taylor to satisfy some stan war dream is completely wrong and uncalled for.

Please do something to make ATRL back to the fighting but funny days and not crossing the line like this.

I am literally a lawyer. Although this is not in any form the field of law I work with, I don't see how giving money would be detrimental to her in a lawsuit. In fact, corporations have started to take the approach of providing compensation soon after any major incident (e.g. Vale dam incident) even without detailed proof of damage because they recognized that the pros of doing so far outweight the cons, including of course for reputational reasons.

Clearly not a very good one. What on earth are you talking about? I just looked up the incident you spoke of and they settled IN COURT. It’s not like they started handing out money immediately because it was a show of good faith. The “image” you’re speaking of is strictly financial and done to help soften the blow to stock shareholders. They did it because they were one hundred percent guaranteed to be convicted. You of all people should know then if she speaks publicly about the matter and even lets out an implied apology then they will absolutely use it against her.

And guess who refused to provide water?

A hint, that was not Taylor. There are videos of her giving water to the fans, videos of her publicist checking on unwell fans, and videos of members of her team distributing water bottles.

Again, the only part Taylor potentially dropped the ball and actually done a really disappointing thing was when she didn't contact the family. But considering we don't know what's happening behind the scenes and the potential legal actions going on, we can't even blame her for that unless we know more about all this.

They are a "lawyer" who spent their entire workday on Monday bashing Taylor and praising Britney and someone named Tate (or is it Taint?) something. Yikesaroni!

Yall act like you care about the fans and what happened to the girl  but then you comment things like these and we know you don't care about anything but Talor maintaining her image with the gp.

This is not Taylor's fault in any way but her team needs to move faster and the stans need to be more respectful

Wait for toxicology report to see what really happened and let the grown ups handle this. No one fully knows what’s going on behind the scenes except the people. Her fans need to chill out. She shouldn’t return to Brazil ever again though. Almost every day seems to be cursed.

the whole point of the post was how are you blaming Taylor when Madonna, who you brought up unprovoked, had 2 crew members die at her show.

people died in both situations but i's evident you have a bias against Taylor. Maybe you should remember that people have a freedom of choice. as in those fans went to the shower knowing about severe weather conditions and NO ONE was prepared for what happened. quit making this a blame game because of your dislike for Taylor. a life was lost and that's the real issue here. not whose fault it is or what could've been done.

She paid tribute to workers during her concert and then she visited their family as well as other workers injured.

Well in their defense, wasn’t it a holiday on Monday in Brazil?

Well they also tried to say corporations are generous for offering settlements...so, in the words of Xtina, I'm not sure if it's a twink or a lawyer.

Yes she did but there was no dragging her for not paying for things.
