"Clapbacks", "shade"… :rip:

Why are you acting like a toddler and are incapable of having a rational discussion without thinking someone bringing up "undeniable and known" facts is just that, rather than some petty shade…

Always put yourself at the same level of the interlocutor

Of all the songs from her debut, she chose the most boring one. :rip:

A Perfectly Good Heart, The Outside, and even I’m Only Me When I’m With You are better album tracks than Stay Beautiful.

I love her debut so much, it’s so raw and innocent, and I’m glad Taylor finally gives attention to it.

Oh god, the fact you still think you're serving......That user was 100% right and you delulu can keep running to your Excel Sheets with your off topic takes.

Taylor swift was a non factor outside the US before 1989. It's a known and unedniable fact :skull:

Interacting with Swifties is beyond boring, at least the other stanbases has some juicy clapbacks

Saying this when Love Story was viral in Asia is kinda crazy ngl.

She was local until a few years ago

Unlike her peers who are still local, so that's pretty good for her

And now all of a sudden, swifties are creating this new narrative that Taylor swift was global since her debut. Her older albums are charting on spotify due to her multi-spamming with her releases and being on the biggest tour ever. People are checking her catalogue, since she was unknown just a couple of years ago + swifties are doing their homework to know every single lyric on tour. Congratulations to her but you won’t convince us that she was some kind of Madonna or Rihanna hits wise. She was the younger version of Carrie Underwood with personal songs about her exs.:suburban:

Why would we convince you that she was a Rihanna with totally unknown album tracks?

The song she was singing was a random album track, something people are not similar when it comes to Rihanna either.

Thankfully unlike Rihanna, she has many known album tracks people sing along to, in sold out venues...

But what exactly is the problem? What matters if she wasn’t an instant global sensation from the get go? She’s selling out stadiums worldwide, the biggest stadiums in the world, multiple times at an unprecedented level. I wish my faves could have her demand or commitment to her career to be quite honest. I’d be thrilled if every year I could expect new material and any music they want throw our way.

She should have performed the flop backwoods album tracks in the US and saved the HITS for Brazil

right? she should have spammed debut songs across the states cuz that's the only place where the album is really known. Also Stay Beautiful is one of least known songs from that album.

+ Suburban Legends, the clear stinker on the 1989 vault

(I'm happy tho cuz my show is on the 19th and we didn't miss any good songs this time)

Typical ATRL (lo)user all riled up because they think only their fave is allowed to be global and someone else being global is a threat to their fave.

I didn't know her debut is treated like a 'mixtape' :ahh:

It would be the most successful mixtape of all time though.

Put some respect on the longest charting album in the 2000s.

Stay Controversial. :clap3:

“Whispers songs into my window with words that nobody knows.” A kii though. :lmao:

"Stay Beautiful" is the only dud on that album. I love the debut and I can't wait for TS TV.

Wrong choice, she was local in her debut

Staying out of threads about an artist you don’t like would likely remedy this for you! :) Novel idea, I know.

There is a whole lot of words in here for a song that I, a Swiftie of fifteen years, couldn’t sing the lyrics to myself

Stay Beautiful, get behind me!!!!! It was my favorite song from debut for the longest time. Debut definitely isn't Taylor's best album, because she just kept growing as an artist, but when 'Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version)' is released, the world will finally see excellence!
