Venice B Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 I must say I was a little skeptical about listening to this album because Cape God is a masterpiece and by far my favorite Allie album so I finally decided to give this one a listen today and wow... she really nailed this one too. Love the sound, it's dark but at the same time very upbeat and it hits so hard, very punchy. Some tracks (the first couple ones and specially the last one) give me some major iamamiwhoami kin vibes but more upbeat, it has this eerie vibe that I like. Didn't pay much attention to the lyrics on this first listen but overall I love the sound of the album and will be listening more for sure, Allie keeps growing as an artist and I love to see it.
