Dance the Night is a good song... Even though it's sitting here. And it won't leave. It's basically not a **** and chuck.

God the RS interview was so good. I’m not mad at 11 songs. Push out a concise body of work first and then surprise us with some extras along the way, best of both worlds really

also this had another great update today, it’s clearly not going to be a smash but this holding on so well is clearly making it into a cute moderate hit at least

Also not people complaining about the lack of tracks. As if there isn't gonna be a 20 track butterfly effect edition featuring 5 exclusive stolen singles and DTN.

Wait, the British influences, the Coachella decline, the likely Glasto performance

This era is for the UK! 🇬🇧:gayalipacat5:

Some of y'all saying she needs to move on when the song is doing 2M+ on Spotify WW... let the good sis Houdini breathe a bit!

The song is sitting comfortable at #11 on the Canadian Hot 100. #5 peak.

Curious to see where it will land on this week's chart (out tomorrow).

Preach. You'd think this was doing Lil Nas X numbers by the way some people are talking.

I have a feeling the album name will be “Teen Stars 3D” which was located on her shirt during the Houdini London session. I think it may have to do with the “band” she refers to that she worked with closely for the album.

I'm actually shocked that Houdini debuted at #5 in Canada.

She truly is loved here.

We often say US and Canada are the same but she never would debut top 5 in the US let's be real... the superior country did THAT

Commonwealth countries, UNITE! @UK @Australia

The British club influence has me shook!! I feel like this album has a chance of topping FN

Canada is generally more receptive to dance pop (and quality music in general) whereas the US is a bit more receptive to pop with an R&B vibe. It's not too surprising that this is performing better there.

She’s a Commonwealth girly anyway, Canada, the UK, NZ and Australia have always had her back

The British government is paying for all those TTH cheques

I have a theory that you need bounce to have a US hit for the last while. "Don't Start Now" and "Levitating" had bounce to them. Whereas "Houdini" is head banging. Head banging is out now, like it was in the mid/late 2000s, whereas bounce is in.
