Lisa collab when?

I can see her being on the ART remix for the deluxe. Lisa would sound great on there and she was vibing with the song when they were in the studio together.

Always here for a new song between them though

This is actually so solid. Very very cohesive sonically lol but I love the differences in the tracks too.

Guys I think I have cracked the code.

This album is the female version of Wizkid's 'Made in Lagos' album.

If you know his album it's Afrobeats centric with pop, rnb, hip hop, reggae and dancehall influences. It also features Tems, Popcaan, Burna Boy,  Buju Banton etc

Whenever I listen that album it's straight VIBES but it feels like a nice Afro-pop male album. Essentially bravado, swag, flirtation all wrapped up in one album. Benefiting from the major hit single Essence.

Now TYLA has a very similar path, like Wizkid with Essence feat Tems/Justin Bieber, her album benefited from a huge hit single 'Water' that would pull more casual listeners to the Afro sound just out of love and curiosity of the hit single.

I think her album is the feminine version of 'Made in Lagos', as it covers similar topics, follows a similar pattern with the type and caliber of featured artists: Tems, Becky G, Travis Scott, Gunna, Skillibeng etc. The main difference is that her album is more ampiano with different genres infused and she tells the same story but Iin a more sultry, sexy and feminine way.

Essentially both are major VIBES, not to be take too seriously in terms of lyrics and vocals but to be enjoyed based on the over sound and mood they create, especially in night life, chill, party or other social settings.

Lastly I think Made in Lagos would have been a stronger album in terms the quality and diversity in the output but TYLA stands on its own as a great, seamless and confident Afro-pop album.

On My Body

I didn't really dig To Last but this album has forced me to listen and now I am in love.

Yes! Tyla and Becky would serve some epic visuals together :WAP:

There's a few great potential singles left on the album and On My Body is definitely one of them
