I excluded songs released this decade.

Numbers don't lie. Those songs crossed generations, that's the definition of classic.

She has literally released 9 albums since Rihanna released ANTI, is currently on tour and has just released a movie.

Not many people above the age of 30 would be listening to Taylor Swift, you would hope.

Rihanna isn't doing anything right now... these numbers would've looked very different the week of her Super Bowl performance lmao

Idk why you guys stay acting oblivious. Taylor didn't even become a streaming force until she began churning out new albums every 6 months. She wouldn't even be in this conversation had she stopped putting out albums 7 years ago like Rihanna did :lmao:

Is that why Taylor was Vevo's most viewed female artist of the 2010s decade globally and Apple Music's 2nd most streamed female artist of all time by early 2019 (only behind Ariana Grande)? If you want to spread fake news, you have to come up with more convincing lies than this. :lmao:

Tay was bigger than Rihanna on YouTube despite less albums :gaycat: in 2010s

Ummm... Taylor has barely any CLASSICS. Rihanna is clearly winning this.

And she was struggling to beat Rihanna in daily streams on Spotify in early 2019, pre "Lover" release... lmao

Maybe because she was absent on Spotify during her peak years and only had 6 studio albums compared to Rihanna's 8? Lmao.

As we saw with YouTube and Apple Music, she had no struggles being more streamed than any other female artist not named Ariana Grande by 2019 already, a fact that then repeated itself on Spotify by late 2020, even before she released 'evermore'… so no, she did not need to churn out albums every 6 months to become a streaming force as she was one before that already. :lakitu:

Because she wasn't on Spotify during her peak years. WANEGBT was in the top 10 most streamed songs there and SIO was smashing hard before she left the platform.

Anyway they were both on Youtube and AM and yet Rihanna was obliterated there despite having more albums.

The replies in here. The way out of all Taylor achievements they could brag about they chose to be dululu and somehow claim she is a bigger hitmaker than Rihanna :deadbanana2:

Oh so y'all finally agree that having more material increases (oftentimes) streams?

Rihanna was the first female artist to cross 2 billion streams on Apple Music in 2018. How exactly was she “obliterated”? S&M, BBHMM, both Work and KIB (at some point), Stay, Needed Me etc were all age restricted so that messes up algorithms and auto play. Of course Taylor garnered more views with her pg-13 videos

Taylor first 8 albums are enough to largely surpass Rihanna.

By early 2019 Taylor had more streams on AM than Rihanna despite having less material.

Now, because she was mostly releasing when streaming was growing lol. Y'all pick and choose when to use logic. How does someone actively releasing music with upto two albums per year not supposed to be doing better than someone with six albums less and last dropped an album when there were less than 100M Spotify users compared to the nearly 600M Spotify users today? Let's please use our brains.

Apple Music was launched in 2015. Why are y'all acting like its always existed :deadbanana4:

Rihanna had one era 2015-2019. Taylor had three.

Well Apple Music launched in 2015 so she had 1989 era still going and then released reputation so that’s one more album than Rihanna (ANTI)
