Reeks from the 2023 Levitating!! 🫨 Pop perfection.

Agonizing, thisnailbiting close, drama drenched & one of if not the MOST deserving fng song of the year to at least get ONE week at #1! Lol

Like Levitating (#1 year end) this gonna end up very, very close to year end chart too! Def #1 on pop radio at the min.

The flashbacks... given that the 1 point margin definitely comes from sales it's looking kinda flimsy atp

would be pretty funnnny if CS blocks at #1 whatever 1989 TV song she tries to push :fan:

It could happen  :dies:

I Can See You only debuted at #5.

And I'm sure Cruel Summer will get a streaming boost during the week of 1989 (TV) release and the song is #2 on radio

Have the Swifties not thought that maybe, just maybe Taylor is smarter than what you expect? We know she's very into charts (she literally knows what album was the number one on the Billboard 200 the week she was born) and that she's also very calculated. So... if Taylor likes breaking records (which she does), how about pushing CS or the lead off 1989 (TV) to #1 next week the same week she gets a #1 album AND her movie is still #1 at the Box Office and OBLITERATE J.Lo's current record for having the #1 movie and album at the same time:gaycat1:

Ya'll didn't think of that? Taylor knows her pop culture and her eying that record wouldn't surprise me. Unlike Lady Gaga, her literal film career isn't at a place where she's expecting to go #1 at the Box Office again anytime soon, so what if she snatches that record before Gaga who could potentially go for the record with Joker 2 and its soundtrack?

I wouldn't be surprised if Drake is the one that tries something to get the #1

Breaking MJ's record a week after tying it sounds like a big deal.

watch Taylor finally release a CS live version or music video as soon as Drake tries something

I’d be shocked if Blank Space (TV) doesn’t beat out Cruel Summer on 1989 (TV) release week.

Maybe i'm wrong but i don't think these already over consumed Songs (and i mean not 10 years ago, blank space makes 2m Daily now) are gonna make big insane numbers. If cruel Summer has still these great stream numbers and also huge radio airplay could make better (while a new song with a big video and and a big launch could debut #1)

I think She is just focused on the first single from 1989.

The #1 movie and #1 album on the same week won't happen cause that week will be released the horror movie Five night at freddy and It has incredible pre Sales and it's set to not less than a 70M dollars debut.

I believe Prince may have already achieved this with Purple Rain in 1984. But the #1 movie generally refers to the weekend box office whereas Billboard charts are weekly. So I think the opening weekend of the movie was part of the week where the album went to #1. And he was for sure #1 on the Hot 100 for any of those weeks.

Swift did release the first single off her third album (1+3=13) on August 4th though. Which is the same day the Billboard chart week in question was published way back in 1984. So you may be onto something.

We are talking about the woman that released ME! as a lead single right?  The Star of the major motion picture Cats? The person who cut Cardigan from her tour film? … I have no clue why you seem to have so much faith in her.

Cruel Summer discounted and new single version is available now, so that people who already bought it or the album can buy again.

That should probably be enough :celestial5:

It looks like the moves are making an impact:

Now people can stop complaining. Cruel Summer will finally reach number one.

Oh Thanks. It'll be really close. Such an interesting week for chart predictors.

Not certain. Drake's Apple Music numbers can be very big.

Really hoping Drake's Apple Music streams are not too big. I do think if Cruel Summer (Single) holds at #1 on iTunes until the last day of tracking week, it will take it.
