Why are they predicting Karma to return if it went recurrent last week?

I think it's because of the movie boost. It definitely wouldn't have re-entered otherwise (and I don't think it's locked to re-enter either).

Many songs have increased on points after going recurrent and they haven't returned to the Hot 100 despite of having enough points to chart in the top 25/top 50

Cruel Summer is def a deserved #1.

You think Mariah’s record for most #1 among solo artist is still safe?

i don’t worry much about Drake as his power obv declines but Taylor could still manage to get some #1 with her strategy of releasing tons of different versions etc.

Yes. I DO strongly feel Taylor has the fire- esp. after seeing what she did w/ getting the most #1 albums for a female-she and her team seem to be master chart scientists & momentum far as nailing it w/ perfect timing (like Mariah & Sony in the 90s).

Rihanna who I & everyone thought was the one (even just 3-5 yrs ago) clearly is out to sea and not coming back. Taylor isn't stopping w/ no sign of over exposure or burnout from the GP. Only 33 yold & just keeps doing everything right & gaining *new fans/loons after 17 yrs which is insane.

Is Taylor going to pull an all top 10 debut for 1989TV again? Maybe cruel summer will block her from doing so lol.

I honestly think Mariah is safe (even though I tend not to doubt Taylor).

After 17 years, and while currently being at her absolute peak, she accumulated """only""" ten #1 songs. She would need to double that to break Mariah's record.

In today's climate, where post-albums #1 are basically over for big releases, and Taylor's strategy to focus on the album numbers by not releasing pre-album singles, I don't see her accumulating that many more #1s. At least not enough to challenge Mariah's record.

If that happens, maybe we'd get an all-Taylor Top 11 (at least), which will break her record from Midnights.

If she breaks Mariah's record she will break The Beatles record too for sure. There isn't too much difference between 19 and 20 #1's

10 more number ones for Taylor? Hm seems a bit like a stretch.

10 #1’s is doable in 5 years. All Drake/Taylor has to do is average 2 #1’s a year.

If Novak Djokovic can average 2 slams a year from ages 32 to 36 (to go from 14 to 24 slams), then Drake having a similar late career run to get to 23 or 24 #1 hits by the end of 2028 is certainly possible.

It‘s unfortunate she lost two #1 hits because of Lil Nas X OTR.

One #1 hit from 1989 TV

One #1 single from TS11

One #1 single from TS12

One #1 single from TS13

It‘s hard to look beyond that because this would be in the 2030s than.

One #1 hit from another Cruel Summer situation

One #1 hit from a successful feature Taylor jumps on

Still only 16, we just don‘t know what happens when Taylor is 40+.

1989 TV isn't gonna come close to a top 10 sweep, stop it with the set-ups already... the most I see is 4 songs in the top 10

Definitely the movie. Karma, Anti-Hero and Cruel Summer are all amazing in it so well deserved

Drake will probably get there

i don’t see Taylor doubling her number ones. She gets about 1 a year on average from 2014-now.

I don’t see her staying like this for another decade. But I can see her getting to 15.

Drake gets like 2+ a year and already has 13, he’s more likely.

Is Paint The Town Red ever going to go back to number 1? Maybe the week after Halloween? I want her to break the solo female rapper record. If not, Agora Hills avenge her!

It's not just a points increase, but a significant points increase arising due to the movie release. "Significant" is the key word. If it's just a song randomly rising 2% in one week, that's not a good enough gain.

She actually got 5 new #1’s in the past 3.5 years and might even get another one next week. It’s not impossible although it will probably take a long time.

I think that will be very difficult (especially with TVs coming to an end) with ageism in the industry. Her current momentum will have to be continued for another decade and change.

Only 8 songs by women aged 40+ have gone #1 (and never more than one by the same artist yet). Taylor essentially has 8-9 years to get 10 more #1s

She most likely isn't gonna break Mariah record and that's fine as it get compensated in album #1 record

Also about 40+ ,Bey will get some more
