Is Beyoncé vs Taylor the most boring stan war of all time?

Yeah, Beyoncé is on the second highest grossing female tour of all-time but for some reason her fans decided that they wanted to downplay the success of the one tour that's above it (by miles, it must be said)

Let's run the thread back celebrating Beyonces career gross with Swifies on the very first page telling the fans to "enjoy it" and pulling for Taylors estimated tour gross to "beat" Beyonce.

The issue is that Swifities feel like numbers should validate every single argument and they can't phantom how someone with a black fanbase has produced a consistent record of achievement and enough to even be in the same sentence as Taylor. They left Katy, Gaga and Adele for dead for a reason. They literally attack whoever is producing numbers and accolades that can rival Taylor. They attacked SZA 6 months ago.

Because Taylor's Americana whiteness appeals more. It has less to do with Taylor being so otherworldly talented and in demand. And that truth seems to bother many.

Alot of her moves and antics are celebrated cause she appeals to a white demographic with alot of socio economic capital and dollars.  My honest opinion is that there are racially charged issues about Beyonce being black with her own demographic that holds their own with a succesful stadium tour and whatever else she puts out. And it's been 25 years.

I see what you’re saying but it’s annoying how they make it seem like white people only listen to Taylor and black peoples only listen to Beyonce and Beyoncé isn’t given the same praise because she’s black. No. They are both different artist but a shame that that race always gets thrown in. I’m a person of color and I love Taylor swift, I like Beyoncé but I prefer million times Taylor swift because her music speaks to me. Beyoncé music is a good going out type of music for me. But I don’t discredit her work. She’s the second highest gross tour when it’s all said and done

I mean Beyhives just need to accept Taylor tour is bigger plus Taylor is more popular in 2023 and the stan war will be over :monkey:

wbk Beyoncé is better at dancing/singing tho

The pathology of a Swifitie. A supremacist complex. Simply rooted in the numbers and Taylor's ability to appeal to a broader audience, only to admit that Bey is the better performer.

The hive only cares about numbers when it suits them. Numbers are a good way to measure popularity when we compare Beyoncé to Gaga but when we compare her to Taylor it's a different story

And yet none of Taylor white peers experienced the same success as her. While there are black artists from this century with a bigger global solo career than Beyonce (Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Drake).

Isn't that what hive does too? You guys always parade with: Beyoncé is the highest grossing black artist so this makes her most talented black artist ever!!!!

hive with their race card again.

i get it, taylor appeals more to white people cuz shes white. but yall gotta ask yallself, why was mj the biggest artist that ever walked the earth and his peak was in the 80s when racism was worse than todays?

and why has no other white blonde artist have the same level of success? where are carly, tori, miranda, kelly, katy????

istg, not everything is about race when people discuss beyonce.

Bruno Mars has bigger and more remembered global hits. He is also an international touring force. He sold less than Beyonce because he debuted later but it's likely he will surpass her solo career at some point.

both fan bases are too established for this. peaks come and go. enjoy both artists winning without the constant shade and comparisons. Sometimes it's cute but a lot of times it gets so messy.

Exactly their hypocrisy is insane. They always brag about numbers to put down smaller artists but when it's done against them suddenly it's unfair/doesn't matter

you got the girls UPSET by telling the truth

Yall proved the point in this thread.

Whining over folks not being moved over Taylor's loser girl anthems. And trying to use numbers to discredit a woman who is admitted at being better in the end.

it’s certainly the most disrespectful to beyoncé for sure :rip: at least gaga is talented enough and can / could keep up with bey so hive vs monsters wasn’t as shocking but comparing her to… that ?

The closest white peer to Taylor is Adele (both pretty safe) and she did in fact experience the same success :sistrens:

You know they wouldn't play MJ on MTV right? MJ had to have undeniable success and talent to reach his peak and he was still outsold by Garth Brooks a country star.

Did she? She has a few huge albums but she didn't experience the overall career success of Taylor and declined much faster despite Taylor debuting earlier.

The numbers suit Beyonce just fine though. She's 42 and has enough #1s and record breaking tours.

Her and other artists accomplishments have yall begging for another re release or added date so Taylor can maintain a position at #1. Meanwhile the artists are just doing their jobs and literally living their lives.

Swifties have the pathology of a sore winner. Karen's who have to have the entire universe revolve around them. Every awful stereotype about girl bosses who want to see "all" women win.

It's very one sided. Most Taylor fans have other stuff to care about.

And yet, you ALL ran in here first. :deadbanana2:
