Yes it is and this thread is already a proof with both sides repeating the same arguments over and over

Yeah, it's weird.

Taylor Swift isn't the actual issue. She's the root of the issue and the sooner that's understood the better. We don't care about a little pretty white girl making money. We are shattered, broken and disillusioned that people are so willing and eager to spend on unpigmented middlingness. YOU ALL ARE THE PROBLEM, not Taylor.

On Twitter this entire "stanwar" is limited to BeyHive and Swiftie stan accounts. There are certain weirdos here who feel the need to be petty, but I couldn't imagine being pressed over Taylor Swift. She's at the prime of her career, that's wonderful, but she's so much (and always has been) in such a different lane than Beyoncé that there's no comparison. Literally none. :rip:

Yes, and I'm going to be so honest (and IDC if anyone disagrees!!! Because y'all know it's true!!!), it gives race war always. Bey and Taylor both have such broad appeal within their specific demographics that whenever someone leads with "WELL I DON'T JUST GET IT..." it always rings like there's an element of distrust or dislike that I feel stems from the detachment from the specific culture they represent and the audience that attracts rather than anything to do with themselves as artists or celebrities.

It's definitely racially tinged with the way swifties disregard the black art and the artistry of black female artists altogether whether they write their songs or not. We see iit in the way they treat Bey's, Rih's and recently SZA's artistry. Even white women like Ariana who is influenced by black art is treated terribly by them. They always seem level headed when arguing with white mpg and traditional "white" art.

Yes it’s very boring because the swifites only post the eras tour numbers. even if you say Taylor is a mediocre performer and not that talented, they’ll be like “YEAH?!! BUT TRILLION PEOPLE WENTT TO SEE HER, JUST WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL NUMBER”

Right, the second the tours end we all know the comparisons will stop because they’re in no way comparable aside from being currently active touring artists. :rip:

Even the people preparing their clapbacks about who’s gonna out-gross who won’t get what they want cause nobody who is intellectually honest is actually genuinely surprised that Taylor is bigger.

People are just bored and now are encouraged to keep this fake feud going to farm for reaction points.

Oop. Spill bestie.

OT: Everything related hive is boring tbh.

Their fave literally just had the biggest female tour of all times yet the same day they made the thread about how much is Taylor Swift tour boosting the economy. Very insecure I would say.

Jesus Chris this is the issue. Your comment comes off as insecure. The best thing Atrl can do is issue WP and thread bans.

The constant back and forth, both sides having people being unable to acknowledge the other side’s success and or talent, the diminishing of artists their appeal, the snobbery and arrogance… this has got to be the most boring stan war ever. I’m Olivia Popeing this thing. Get me representatives from both the Swifties and the Beyhive and we’ll sign a peace treaty

The fact that people are literally proving your point in this very thread

I wouldn’t be so quick to blame the stans. The media has played a big part in this. The culture likes to compare women, and put them against each other. Patriarchy can’t stand women being successful, so they make them go against each other. It may be simplified when I say it like this, but I feel it’s true.
There’s a race element to this, too. The culture can’t accept Beyoncé, who is “unapologetically black” (watch SNL’s The Day Beyoncé Turned Black) to be successful, so they have to put her against Taylor, who is white and originally a country artist. Beyoncé stans, of course, would be very frustrated that Beyoncé’s huge talent and the highest amount of work out of all the musicians in the industry is not paying of as it is for white artists. The stans are just caught up in this and represent the reflection of the broader culture, especially in USA.

Users need to realize that if you go into a thread, and people can already predict what you’re going to say, you’re not a funny troll, you’re just a broken record.

Eras Tour is factually the biggest event of this decade and dare I say this century

It's probably this delusion that causes the Hive to speak up and start arguing with Swifties; understandably.

I think there is a consensus that Taylor is more successful and Beyonce is more legendary.

It's one sided with stats favoring Taylor by far. The only thing that makes it interesting is a few pressed Beyhive who keep projecting their insecurity which at the end resorting on race card when everything doesn't work in their way :bird:

It’s so boring going back and forth.

their comeback is that Taylor can’t sing or dance but yet is in more demand than beycone why? Tho? They always use the race card

not our fault that we come through for the people we love

I’ve spend thousands of dollars for Taylor swift concert tickets why because I love her that much and I’m going to Europe next year just to see her. I go above and beyond those Beyoncé fans should do the same if they love her that much like they claim

If it's not Bey stans who keep feeling insecure of Taylor's success

That same logic can be applied to the insecurities jumping out any time someone says Taylor is a mediocre performer (in general, not just coming from the hive), hence the way a revered performer like Bey is constantly being discredited and thrown under the bus by some rhythmically challenged Swiftie in some way, shape or form to prove otherwise (using attendance/demand numbers). Like who cares

Race does play a factor in Taylor doing better numbers though. That's just a fact that can't be ignored.

The sooner people will accept they are two very different artists with different strengths, audiences, and career, the better.

The real winners are those who saw/will see both The Eras Tour and the Renaissance Tour.

And I'm a loser cause I couldn't secure tickets for the Renaissance Tour when she went in Paris. Still praying she'll do another European leg

Not certain Swifties in this thread talking about “Hive is insecure…”

If I can recall Swifties make 10+ threads a day about what Taylor is doing; then the min they see a Bey, Rih, Gaga, or Britney avi express a different opinion they bring their names up - therefore gives the other fanbases to speak up/defend.

For real. My RWT date is in the next couple weeks :jonny: I got to see two biggest female concerts of the year and that’s a hell of gratifying experience. These wars don’t phase me cause I can enjoy the excellence of both!
