Cinemark and Regal are showing the film also, AMC is just sort of spearheading the campaign

other theater chains will add the film soon as well. I believe next week. The original deal was with those 3 chains with AMC being the front runner so tickets went on sale there first

Loser (2019) exists!

Even with that she couldn't lose properly. Both the album and Cruel are smashing the top 10 currently. :deadbanana4:

All box office trackers are confirming after insane day 1 presales that $100M OW is the floor for this. The next goal is to hit sub $300M especially since Taylor, the MCU, Star Wars are very  presale heavy/fandom driven brands.

Expect a steep decrease week 3 though, week 2 will probably be a spillover of the folks who couldnt get tickets week 1.

This is why ATRL is fuming so hard. Every day with her is another unprecedented record breaking moment :deadbanana4:

Marvelites in SHAMBLES. We love to see it.

I know AMC is licensing it out, but limiting the theaters is kind of dumb right? Especially with the strike, she should wide release.

she probably has a deal

no

the movie is produced by "amc theater"..now they have a kind of owned production company.

it was a surprise announcement (kinda no one in hollywood knew about it) so right now you can buy the tickets only on amc and other 2 chanis (regal and cinemark) cause other chains didn't knew about the movie. But according to indiewire in few weeks everyone will open their tickets sale and the movie will debut with 4K+ theaters, so everyone will play it without a particular exclusive.

Right, it might be good for Her and the Swifties but it will be absolute HELL for everyone else within the vicinity. I suppose that’s the price She pays for being the biggest musician of Her time. :gaycat6:

Let’s just say the I Can See You video release washed the SNTV announcement.

Dont set her up like that. Concerts movies are even more frontload than Marvel/Starwars.

As long as she did 70m 1st week, its already the highest gross concert movie of all time surpass Bieber and MJ.

I predict 70m 1st week and 150m total. Which is historical insanity for a concerr movie, double previous record.

luckily week 3 kicks off with 1989TV's release which will ignite more gp interest and since she's on a mini break, she'll probably do a little promo weekend just like sacREDTV :duca:
