ZeroPoint Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I cannot believe he’s still whining about this
Mordecai Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Billy you have to be relevant to be on the cover of Vogue 4
El Chico Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Divorced, middle of a strike, selling his house but Harry’s ******* vogue cover is what’s on his mind? 7
JungleJuice Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) I never ever liked this man. I'm glad it made him mad. I didn't belive him when he said he was starving tho. He seems so selfish and entitled Edited August 12, 2023 by JungleJuice 1
kawk Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 can this old haggard queen just **** off already...
Illuminati Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Oh, he's mad at Harry again I think I said something in Billy's defense last time, but this does strike me as just bitter and petty. Maybe the second man will be gay. Wasn't James Charles on one of the Vogues?
Archetype Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I swear anyone can offend this man by simply breathing

How about a man who chooses to not publicize his sexual orientation chooses to wear the **** he wants and the one raising a problem with this, is a gay man? Because Harry never wore dresses before. He was never in touch with his feminine side until it became more trendy and got a new stylist because of actual queer men like billy who wore similar things to the red carpet. And Harry got the cover from Anna wintour who was just virtual signingling to Billy that she is making the world more inclusive when her type of inclusive is a white male masc presenting man wearing a dresss. She asked him how can we be better and he fumbled the question! Now he wanna pop off at the mouth after the fact. And you don’t need to call her a ***** for asking a question that YOU got tongue-tied on. A bitter man.

He clearly isn't. He does it because he wants to. This is a very stale topic at this point. The fact that you guys haven't caught up yet is annoying for fans (a lot of whom are queer and found a lot of comfort in Harry not gaf and doing what he wants), but he's not online at all and it doesn't affect his bottom line, so he gets to ignore it fully. This truly only affects his queer fans, but you guys simply do not care. I am a Harry stan and I think he looks great when he leans into that side of himself. However I think Billy has it in their head that Harry is getting some kind of special attention for it, and I don't think that's the case. Most of the internet basically call him a poser. So all I'm getting at is that Billy could stand to take a step back and see that Harry isn't getting special attention and love for this one thing. 1 1

Kimbra Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Billy's point is that gender non-conformity expanded the territory for cishet men. Most of it was making sure that everyone knew that men could wear flowers and nail polish without being gay. Meanwhile, actual Queer people were overlooked and still marginalized. 2
ICLDXU4HS Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I've yet to see another facet of his personality other than being perpetually angry.

Not that difficult to understand the hypocrisy Harry has been working with his stylist, Harry Lambert, since 2014. Harry was 20 years old and the face of a boyband marketed primarily to straight young girls. There were boundaries to what he could do, but he was already doing stuff For years he wore clothes out of the "female" aisle, and it was weird for someone in his position to do that at that point, the three following photos are from 2014 Spoiler This one is from 2015 He rode his bike with a glittery golden helmet on in 2014 His 19th birthday in February 2013 He was compared to Victoria Beckham for that shirt, in a mocking tone Spoiler He used to get dragged for wearing floral patterns to red carpets because it men simply didn't do that in 2015 (and before anyone thinks I'm claiming that he was trendsetting or the first one to do it, no, there were plenty of men before him in the 70s and 80s and 90s, and then masculinity got resetted for some god forsaken reason, until the 80s straight men wearing crop tops was seen as normal, but even today a man in a crop top = gay, imagine back in 2015) This was in the worst dressed columns even though today it'd be in the best dressed ones 100% (and it was one of his first Alessandro Gucci looks, while he was still in 1D), 2015: He has never given a damn about masculinity/femininity or being perceived as masculine Spoiler He started painting his nails and taking it off before 1D gigs in 2013. This is a collage by a fan but lower right is his hand during a 1D signing, it had red nail polish on the edges (this was 2013), upper, middle. and lower left are both from 2014, he had clear top coat and one single nail painted yellow. Then in 2015 he started wearing red in one nail in each hand (upper and middle right) Spoiler This was in 2016 he had red nails for his first solo photoshoot with Another Man (can't find a pic but they were maroon/dark red) and then he wore black nail polish to the after party Spoiler He did very light pink nails towards the end of 2017 and it wasn't until 2018 when he started to paint his nails a ton of colors that were very showy. And to this day he gets comments about how feminine that is. Was he wearing dresses in 1D? No. But he NEVER cared about that sort of thing and ALWAYS had a quirky fashion. You think he woke up a solo artist and decided to fall head first into a dress? His fans know it's genuine because it's been slowly building up since he was 16 years old. It means zero about his sexuality, just leave him alone wearing whatever he wants. He isn't bothering anyone lmao 2 1 3
Zoomer Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) What is he? An actor? Singer? Influencer? Seriously… Harry was gonna be on the cover regardless, whether he wore a generic suit or a dress. Vogue isn’t a gay magazine, it’s a fashion magazine, Vogue and Anna doesn’t owe him ****! Entitled, arrogant and rude, and the audacity to comfortably call a woman he barely knows a “*****” in a public interview. He’s just mad that harry is doing what he was best known for, but better. Bethenny Frankel Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 billy has been insufferable lately in some of these interviews
State of Grace. Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) I'm not one to defend Harry's queerbaiting ass but this is simply screaming "pressed and bitter" because it wasn't him. Especially since this is old news and he already criticized Vogue for it in 2021 and some people were supportive. I'd have taken this more seriously if it came from another queer artist/celeb tbh, not Billy Porter and his "Patience, babies!" dismissive ****. I truly switched on him after that condescending and extremely out-of-touch take when he's the lead cis man in a show that is mostly about trans women. Edited August 12, 2023 by State of Grace. 3 1
