It truly is quite a feat that swifties have managed to get liddos level of insufferable, I never thought any fanbase would rival that  

 

The way each and every discussion, no matter the topic, gets reduced to spotify streams is more redundant than what the liddos were up to tbh.

I guess the Monsters cause a lot of what Swifties say is mostly true since they just bring up stats. While repetitive and somewhat annoying, Little Monsters in 2011 we’re making the wildest claims like Gaga being the best performer over Beyonce, replacing Madonna, etc

 

Gaga was huge but she was just starting out back then, but the way everything crumbled when ARTPOP happened was a sight to behold. I don’t think I’d feel the same way with the Swifties if Taylor underperformed that hard.

We only use stats to prove your claims make no sense. Little Monsters were claiming Gaga was bigger than Madonna when she was only around for 2 albums, and they truly believed that.

Quite frankly it's just very hard to outdo little monsters even if swifties can be insufferable, little monsters in 2011 were already saying Gaga was going to be bigger than Madonna. There's just a certain level of delusion not even swifties can top

Sure they'll antagonize different fanbases the same way liddos used to but at least they'll just mostly keep it with stats and move onto the next. Liddos would make 20 threads a day about something go into their base to tell their members to mass vote/ report on threads and posts and would usually go lower than I've even seen a swiftie on this site (and not twitter or social media won't speak much on that) do.

nn you kinda spilled, Taylor fans (at least on forums) don’t run hate campaigns just cause other people have a negative opinion on their fave. 

 

that being said, the entitlement that swifties have is fun to poke at, they genuinely believe she’s the next Beatles/Joni Mitchell hybrid  and the notion that her being a songwriter automatically proves shes the greatest songwriter never sat well with me. I’m sure woke culture will catch onto that in a couple of years.

I think people forget how just insufferable liddos were. I have never seen anything like it (I'm not on stan twitter or any other stan forums so I might be wrong) but the way every single person that said anything that they didn't agree with used to be a Britney stan hiding behind Rihanna/Katy/whoever else  Or that all I had to say was "Gaga wasn't the biggest artist of the century" and I'd get all kinds of racist vitriol from them because I lived in Africa. The levels aren't the same at all. Swifties can be delusional and annoying but thankfully (for now) haven't reached liddo levels of insufferable
