Wow I love the snippet so much

I don't see it being a huge smash hit but it will definitely find its audience

hope rap stan love this

Posted

this is neither pop-rap nor the hip-hop banger most expect. More like alternative vibes, so expecting it to flop

This is gonna EAT :WAP:

If Doja making good music comes at the expense of flopping or not being as mainstream as before I wouldn't mind it. Neither would she probably. You could tell she was unhappy as a mainstream artist anyways. Being alternative is what is inside of her.

A part of me sees SZA as like an alternative “underground” artist. This era definitely made her a household name, but she’s not EVERY WHERE like a Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Nicki were in their primes. She went 5 years in between albums but her numbers are good because of her dedicated fanbase, the music is good, and she’s unproblematic. Doja to me isn’t really problematic she’s just half white :skull: like NO male rapper’s career is negatively effected by him dating white white or being around uppity white women who think they are better than Black women. Nobodies career gets negatively impacted by dating a white person like a biracial (half W/ half B), not even a Black woman (see Tia vs. Tamera and Serena Williams) :dies:

That whole “she was in a tiny chat with a white guy that said the n word” was a farce 😂 plenty of Black male rappers and athletics have procreated with white women who said much worse about Black women. Even Ms. Yellow Bone is what he wants toured for Beyoncé
