The way the lyrics change doesn't change the meaning of the song in the slightest. It'd be cringe to see a 33 years old woman sing the line "she's better known for the things that she does in the mattress".

it's cringe also romeo save me ....their are old songs so for every songwriters of course juvenile songs are juvenile

“Darling please save me” replaces Romeo save me perfectly, but that would totally lose its charm…. She should just avoid changing lyrics lol

Loving all this backlash for Snooze Now TV. The sooner people move on from it the sooner Taylor can focus on her most relevant rerecording Godputation TV :WAP:

You're a dreamer because it's going to be 1989 TV and it'll be her biggest one

The new line is actually pretty good I fear. It's a clever little double metaphor and it doesn't try to make the song "more feminist"

The GP wants Call It What You Want (folklore vocals version) more than they want anything on 1939 :fan:

i'm seeing that

the user said she changed cause it's cringe singing that at 33, basically all fearless is cringe to sing at 33, it's an album written from a teen so it's not a problem of course.

she changed a verse but the rest is the same, at least that. I was afraid to something worst.

Everyone was obsessed with this songs as Mean it's not at even worst song when it's abou being offensive against someone(or well dear john).

She lists & talks about so many songs towards the end, but not BTR :toofunny3:

1989 TV version sounds weird to me cause the album is basically performing like it's new. It's the pop classic of the last decade so feels like "ok we all were listening until yesterday" why we should listen a new version?

but the interest, especially with top pop collaborators, for the  newpop songs now she's is a again a pop darling could be big I guess.

she changed BTR? deleting all of my last.fm streams and blocking her on spotify. bye *****

In my mind, the saddest song I’ve ever written is ‘Last Kiss’. My most scathing is ‘Dear John’ and my most wistfully romantic is ‘Enchanted’.

She is dead on... this prologue my goodness.
