After one week I'm a bit obsessed. Mine is SOTY, without a doubt the best pop vocal performance you will hear this year. She didn't lie when she said it's a mix of previous sounds, there's a lot of MoL, PxP, My December and Breakaway vibes, but with a more experienced view on the world. Her voice has never sounded better to me. I'm still a bit skeptical about My Mistake, it kinda slows the momentum down. 

 

But this is an impressive pop album for any artist, never mind for someone who has been in the game for 20 years. I didn't expect Kelly to subvert the expectations of a "divorce album" in this clever way. She still is someone worth to pay attention to.

Yeah I just struggled with this and honestly was a bit dissapointed it's more a piece of thin paper. But on the other hand, I can swap it out with the booklet and have a signed textless cover in the front, which looks just gorgeous.

Yes, she really surprised us with her divorce album and I am glad she decided to stray away from the expected angry and depressed mood. Also most signed CD albums nowadays are on a thin piece of paper unfortunately. I liked it back when they signed the actual booklets

50k+ and #1 in album sales is a phenomenal debut for this   The international performance isn't great but not surprising. Still a big win!

Do y’all think they’re waiting for the mine/me vinyls to ship before pushing a new single as those sales might be best chance of charting?  Also, did we get any indication of how many mine/me vinyls they made?
