Rock Hudson is such a good song. I love how she samples and reclaims Piece by Piece.

Lighthouse ends abruptly does anyone like that touch or….?

Wish it was longer.

My one complaint with the entire album is that all of the songs start/end abruptly. I hate the state of the music industry right now where everything HAS to be a certain length.

Even high road is missing half the bridge, compared to the original.

she served so hard with this album tbh

I feel like some of the songs are gonna be growers, the melodies are certainly a bit more nuanced in some of the tracks, but i love em regardless!

Skip This Part is literally her best song. I LOVE THIS ALBUM SM. shes sooo gonna win Best Pop Vocal Album

I was wondering why so many songs in general end abruptly after the bridge.

Such a ghoulish industry.

favourite kind of high is a fun bop

I've settled into this album a bit more, and I truly enjoy or love all of the tracks in a way I haven't since Breakaway. And that's not a diss towards the albums after Breakaway as there are some great standout moments on all of them. However, there are always a few tracks I end up not personally enjoying or ever wanting to go back to. My least favorites on chemistry so far are my mistake and the title track, but tbh I really like both of them a lot more than my least favorites on any of her last albums. Very solid album front to end and quite deserving of some Grammy buzz.

She’s kinda neglected the uk since HBS which is annoying as it is always ready to support her.

Chemistry might end up in the lower end of the top 30. Not shocking considering it's Glastonbury week and her last promo in UK was many years ago :rip:

That post-chorus really gets me every time :wanda:

With your eyes on me I start to tremble

Always you has been forever

Just the fact that she had to re-live those emotions after the divorce to write the song...it must have been so hard. Poor Kelly.

Completely agree. Thinking about the divorce makes the songs even more difficult to listen to, it just adds a whole layer when you realize she's singing about something so life altering.

Magic is on another level. Probably top 5 of her discography.

Numbers aren't bad but such a shame it can't go at least Top 5 :chick3:
