DatChickDoe Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Rock Hudson is such a good song. I love how she samples and reclaims Piece by Piece.
Dylan' Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Lighthouse ends abruptly does anyone like that touch or….? Wish it was longer.

My one complaint with the entire album is that all of the songs start/end abruptly. I hate the state of the music industry right now where everything HAS to be a certain length. Even high road is missing half the bridge, compared to the original.
JoeAg Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 she served so hard with this album tbh I feel like some of the songs are gonna be growers, the melodies are certainly a bit more nuanced in some of the tracks, but i love em regardless!
KatyPrismSpirit Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Skip This Part is literally her best song. I LOVE THIS ALBUM SM. shes sooo gonna win Best Pop Vocal Album

I was wondering why so many songs in general end abruptly after the bridge. Such a ghoulish industry.

Heartbeat Song Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 I've settled into this album a bit more, and I truly enjoy or love all of the tracks in a way I haven't since Breakaway. And that's not a diss towards the albums after Breakaway as there are some great standout moments on all of them. However, there are always a few tracks I end up not personally enjoying or ever wanting to go back to. My least favorites on chemistry so far are my mistake and the title track, but tbh I really like both of them a lot more than my least favorites on any of her last albums. Very solid album front to end and quite deserving of some Grammy buzz.

Poor Kelly.

Thinking about the divorce makes the songs even more difficult to listen to, it just adds a whole layer when you realize she's singing about something so life altering. 1
Roberto Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 The live version of Rock Hudson. Holy ****, those impeccable vocals and the whole rock vibe of the song.
ADMKHN Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Magic is on another level. Probably top 5 of her discography.
Phoenixstar Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 I need live on Magic, Chemistry and Skip This Part.
