Lorenzo22 Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 fifteen is probably one of my least favorite songs from fearless but it’s still cute and i like the story she tells

Everyone can relate to "remember when we broke up" but it's FAR more powerful to say "remember when you hit the brakes too soon, twenty stitches in the hospital room, you started crying baby I did too, when the sun came up I was looking at you..." Sure, nobody else but Taylor has experienced that exact scenario, but everyone can relate to the FEELINGS she evokes with her specific, intimate lyrics. God I love her. You said it amazingly. I adore her attention for details. I myself love giving lots of details when telling a story, so her songwriting was always the best for me.

Any others y'all can think of? I assumed they just meant it introduced her in general. The songs about her, small bits mentioning her in interviews, BTS stuff through the years, etc.

So happy you remember about this story I told you how long ago, a couple of years maybe?

For example one of the most interesting things I've heard about a Taylor song is that Sad Beautiful Tragic is about Andrea's affair that caused her and Scott's marriage to disintegrate. Probably a wild rumour but it helped make that boring song so much more interesting to me.

Can't believe she wrote this masterpiece at 16 and then duds like Labyrinth at 33.
greento Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Tim McGraw is one of the best on Debut, it’s grown on me so much with time. The lyrics are soooo good for her age at the time.
1989 Posted February 22, 2023 Author Posted February 22, 2023 Next: how many of the “Others” are left?
Miles. Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 to Tim McGraw for starting off her spellbinding career. Can't wait for the TV.
KillingYourCareer Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Tim McGraw was always my least favorite single from her debut. I've only started appreciating it lately--I love how she's talking about mem'ries she has related to songs in it.
