If they go the Cool route they’ll be truly respected because they have good vocalists who pull off that sound. But of course JYPig will keep going for the disjointed mess and people will keep complaining :rip:

The tiktok comments under videos using Nmixx new song saying it's their "itzy era" :rip: Yeah that groups reputation is officially over if they're automatically associated with childish songs

Everglow Park Jiwon GIF - Everglow Park Jiwon Eu GIFs

it is officially over, just look at Cheshire chart perfomance both in Korea and worldwide, no one gave a f  :deadbanana4:

they released a better song to rebound from the disaster the Sneakers era was, but everyone had written them off by that time and had moved on to LSRF and NJ

at this point I don't know what they should do to bring everything back, thankfully they have built a solid fanbase

I thought this roach was supposed to leave

The original is better. Kai and his nasal voice could NEVER serve.

where are SM finding these niche local songs with 400k views? :deadbanana4:

I doubt Dara approached them herself and said "Hey why don't you buy this song?", it must've been SM who asked for a sample

good for her though, she's getting that check :clap3:

Itzy built a fanbase before they went downhill so I think they’ll be good for now, but idk how long that will last because of how quickly 4th gen is moving and every girlgroup amassing fans like crazy. Itzy was truly lucky they came at a time when 4th gen was just starting so they got a head start and got a few hits in their belt. Wannabe still remains the most streamed 4th gen song in Spotify and YouTube. That was a moment. :clap3:

Wannabe is such a flawless klassic already, its giving fluke. Maybe they set themselves up for failure with that one. :ducky:

The choreo? A+

The video? A+ (when that molly hits in the bathroom >>>)

The production? A+

The vocals? Unimportant.

Such a reset, still sounds fresh. :jonny5:

A nice song?

Who stan these girls? Like the music is trash, they don't have chemistry or identity as a group and one of the girls already leave.

Itzy should have waited longer to release Cheshire (or a better song). Sneakers was just 4 months old :rip: and they're no rookies.

but jype insists on acting like a fast food company so

Bjork does not own that and the original japanese tweet that started all this was literally praising them :rip:

i mean i stan aespa so it’s not meant as any serious drag, but between the Black Mamba video mess and these teasers we can’t pretend SM’s creative team hasn’t been a bit too inspired by other sources for some of their releases :toofunny2:

not that they’re the only ones who do it obviously but i don’t want to be like others who can only blindly praise everything my faves do 100% of the time
