Tbf BP and BTS are bigger than Kpop and even eating up most Western acts these days, but TWICE's numbers are also very impressive and is the 3rd biggest after those 2 mentioned

The fact that Blonks are slowly turning into BoTSARMY 2.0 means that they’ll never be secure in their faves’ position and they’ll keep going after Twice just like how they went for NewJeans before that. 
 

the way we saw so many of them foaming at the mouth yesterday over every little thing and now Twice is reported to have the highest kpop gg sales first week in the US 

 

also the countless posts about “music quality” while stanning BLACKPINK out of everyone else  BP is literally the definition of ‘great gowns beautiful gowns’ with the same rehashed demos every year, and the poor souls don’t even get enough material for THAT. The utter lack of self awareness is baffling

Ive been waiting patiently for them to come back on top for years now. And idk how much of it is possible, but the GP is very well aware of EXO and the kind of superstars they are, so all of them finally coming back from the military and being complete again gives me hope 

 

But the music has to be good though. None of that Kwangya bullshit, otherwise they’re doomed.

For Kakao and their collection of authoritarian government investment funds to make money on this deal, I'm guessing we're going to eventually see a steady stream of SperM contents.

As of today, looks like the best you're going to get is some kind of joint custody of SM as Kakao is offering what the SM shareholders want -- money.  Then again, it took Bighybe about 8 years to debut a proper girl group off the success of BTS, so there's always the chance it ends up being the same difference.

When that coking coal logistics company decided to expand their media empire into the music business, and then start things off with a girl group, it was almost like they wanted to fail.  Maybe to offset profits made in their construction, real estate and consumer goods.  For almost no logical reason, GWSN were by far the most expensive flop to debut that year -- if you ignore Loona.

 

Of course, the pandemic.  But whatever with that nonsense.
