thirdward Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 bang pd is up there with yg like there’s something really twisted about him

Then we have Ricky, queerbaiting visual Jiwoong, Seunghwan, Haruto, Matthew. Throw in another vocalist and another visual and this group will be 4th gen it group
MonsterNavy Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 if I was SM, I would literally just trust HYBE do whatever it wants with my company aespa has to get the same treatment as newjennies and LSRFM

SM would have given her better lines than JYP do SM would have also nurtured her immense vocal talent and potential, unlike JYPIG who wasted her skills in Twice songs where most of the better and challenging lines almost always go to Jihyo and Screecher Nayeoncé SM can be a loser company in a lot of aspects but one thing they do well in is utilizing and developing their vocalists properly. JeonGOD would have thrived vocally there I fear. 2 hours ago, Vrx. said: She would have been lead probably. Her tone is perfect for KPop (and her high notes aren’t strained). A damn shame she’s relegated to two prechorus lines and maybe 5 seconds of the second chorus. She’s already the official “lead vocalist” in Twice on paper, but even sub vocalist like Mina who doesn’t even possess half of Jeongyeon’s range gets to sing more. Make it make sense. 1 hour ago, Magdalene said: the way they put jeongyeon on the last chorus on so many tt’s so jihyo could just belt over her her voice is strong enough to have her own moment to shine That’s the only reason they put her in the last choruses, just because she is the only one with a strong enough voice to not get drowned out in the screamfest between the other two
thirdward Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I do think that a group with 4/5 boys from SM with hybe’s payola would smash a la newjennies call them newjongins

Honestly I like how gradual and not-rushed her recovery process after the hiatus has been. Props to the company for letting her take her time and do it in a healthy way tbh. She’s also on medication so it feels good that they’re putting her health on priority. Now give the queen the lines and screentime she deserves.
joysaiyo Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Kpop downfall started with Dynamite release, and then more bad music, then HYBE happened
New Edition Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I think the artists will probably be salty though. SM entertainment artists are trained to have a lot of pride in SM being the 'biggest and best kpop company'. And I know when BTS was rising, there was tons of competition between the companies AND the artists. SM tried so hard to push NCT in America after BTS starting popping off. Don't get me started on the power tripping at award shows and end of year gayos. This is really gonna crush SM artists' pride.

They’re not being acquired because they’re failing - quite the opposite.
New Edition Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 The year Kpop died. SM deserved it. How can you try to counter that with THIS? It was never going to go in SM's favor
Gaia Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Just get rid of the useless SHINee and Super Junior content and disband NCT127. That's all HYBE needs to do.
Save-Me-Oprah Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 this song slaps except for the 15 year old child telling us about her impurities

I hope they keep up the good work then - DDU DDU and BTS’ American promotions are the root of K-pop’s problems it makes sense when u think about it HYBE saw that and did the exact opposite of both: non girl crush group and lowkey (but surely ) US promotions and bam newjeans smasha

Asscatchem Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 sm will never have a truly global group and its due to their own arrogance cbar spam buyers =/= cultural relevance

Yeah SM's hubris and delusion is what led to them being destroyed and eaten by their biggest competitor. But who knows what will happen in the future. What we do know is that SM will never be the same again. Somewhere 2012 Infinite fans are giggling.

Save-Me-Oprah Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 And why would a business keep around an act that isn't profitable, anyway? HYBE & SM & YG & JYP and every other business are here to make money, not lose money by investing it into projects that don't turn a profit they aint a charity
