Late to the discussion but a girlgroup only thread isn't such a bad idea and it doesn't have to be a shady thing.

 

I was on vacation last week and it was hard to scroll through the thread for girlgroup news so I barely checked the thread at that time due to how overwhelming it was to get through everything with the time I had free. I'm sure there's others who feel the same.

yeah its so annoying seeing 20+  new pages only to discover 80% are people thirsting over boys (who arent even that sexy tbh) .... there are countless places if u want to thirst over idol abs go there. Its not easy to find an all kpop news thread tho... especially one that has members who are active 10+ years.... (yeah thats me included) i dont wanna miss that because people cant control their sex drive...

tbh i think stans of bgs should open base threads to do the spamming

i don’t think there is anything wrong with a thirst post here and there but sometimes it really becomes too much

 

for example BTS and BLACKPINK had base threads with so many pages, the atrl reset in 2022 killed it though

What you're saying is a bit bold but I agree for the most part.  Boygroups don't really annoy me like they used to but I still don't care about them.

 

What I take from and enjoy about this thread is that there are many girlgroup stans of each group (from STAYC to NewJeans to aespa to Lsrfm etc) who post a lot of small tidbits about the groups that I wouldn't be able to just get from one of those girlgroup stan twitter accounts. It's hard being able to keep up among all the boygroup stuff sometimes.

Seriously I would come on seeing a ton of pages and was trying to check the thread for aespa and sometimes RV comeback news like producers, or who was directing, or stuff like Perfect Night's chart performance but It would just be pages about how cute Riize were.
