Just look at what happened to Wondergirls and or a more recent example Aespa 

 

American promos only work when there’s a demand. 
All the successful Kpop promos in America were from established acts who already had a fandom. 
 

BTS American debut - 4 years after debut

Blackpink American debut - 3 years after debut

Twice - 6 years after debut

 

Aespa - 1 year after debut

Wondergirls - 1 year after debut

I was just looking at it from the perspective of their already organic success in the US where there’s been no major push. 

 

i think a BNA nomination and potential win would widen their horizons even more and give them the converted “first kpop act to win a Grammy”

You have a point, but to push for a Scammy nomination they would have to be somewhat of a household name or at least have that mainstream media exposure where people would be like “oh I’ve heard that name”. NewJennies are too new for that right now imo. Let them establish themselves and grow their fanbase in the US first, then they can think of Scammys. Otherwise they might end up like those irrelevant BNA nominees who get nominated and then we never hear about them ever again.

No I think they’re still releasing the single and album together, it’s just the Twice Japanese teasers always come way before the actual release.

I'd assume we'll get the mv first since we haven't gotten both before, but since it's basically a new ''group'' they might change the method...
The Moonlight Sunrise lyric video spoiled 2 dates (3/10 being the kr comeback) so maybe it'll release on 3/22?  I feel like that'd be too close (even for their standards) and it's likely related to Ready To Be too but who knows
We're getting well fed that's for sure
