Is it just me or KPop this year is so uneventful, uninteresting, boring or stale? In 2022, I was actually thinking the same. But looking back, at least we got:

 

- NewJeans’ debut and chart performance

- Blackpink’s much awaited comeback

- Le Sserafim’s Antiragile era

- most girl groups that debuted deserve to win Rookie of the Year

- NMIXX’s O.O that received mixed reactions. Some even called it as the worst debut song by a girl group.

- Nayeon’s iconic Pop! era

- IVE’s Love Dive

 

And of course, one of the best performances of 2022:

(2nd gen idols are really different performing on stage compared to current idols.) 

 

Aside from Fifty Fifty’s Cupid going viral and charting very well internationally, there is no other defining moment that I can think and we are almost in the 4th quarter of the year.

a bit surprised, i was genuinely expecting a mega bomb 

they should just let this song flop do its thing and save the payola for OTR/Baddie

 

though the other two will serve similar numbers if the teasers are being posted two days before

This is actually very good for a non promoted ballad that didn't have a full tracking time
