:rip: IVE/LESSER/GIDLE only 1 title track all released in the same month. (No it’s not IVE’s fault that their pre-release didn’t flop!)

NewJeans two title tracks in December/January + Super Shy in July. Mind you, the ep was out for like two weeks, not even included in the first tweet.

What context do you need for the cold hard facts? The absolute irony of you to start the overall points argument as if they didn’t debut years before other girls bar GIDLE. Be serious. :rip:

OT:

NewJeans - 2.305B
#IVE - 1.654B
#LESSERAFIM - 1.013B

- wall -
#GIDLE - 808M
#aespa - 597M

Argue with the #wall.

IVE released a pre-release in March and their title in April. LSF had a title in the first week of May and a single, but a significant portion of their numbers come from their November comeback in 2022. ANTIFRAGILE makes up 329M of LSF’s digital points this year. G-IDLE also only had a title and a pre-release, but NXDE makes up 230M of their points since they had a November release.

“Cool With You” and “ETA” are also title tracks. If you stanned NewJeans and not just their success, you would know that.

Aespa’s not lacking in digital success this year - Spicy spent months in the top 10 (still there) and the B-sides are still charting. On the year-end building chart, Spicy is #17, Illusion is #89, Next Level is #119, Thirsty is #128 and Salty & Sweet is #195. And that’s on top of them just releasing the best-selling mini album ever for a girl group.

The faux NewJeans stanning just so you can try to dunk on another girl group is big loser energy. Leave that toxic ass behavior behind in third gen.

itzy are strong performers it's weird how their tours are so small. Ateez has no hits but can even tour bigger places

JYP is going through a brand identity crisis and it shows. People are having a hard time investing in ITZY because the group doesn’t have strong concepts and the music isn’t hitting. On top of that, they struggle to promote the girls and Ryujin is the focus of everything, so it’s kind of worthless for fans of the other girls to invest in the group.

I love ITZY and I’m a huge supporter, but they have limited vocal ranges and a creative team that doesn’t know how to work with that or serve new concepts.

Is Loonasserafim the group that has the rights to perform the old Loona songs ?

xjaa6Of.gif

They all have the rights to perform the songs technically. But they don't own the copyrights and ownership of the songs.

A bit like EXID with all of their songs their song with Who'z That Girl. They don't own the rights because it's AB Ent that owned it but they performed it all the time.

it sounds so good :jonny5:

ntm on txt, with 4th gen boygroups achievements sounds like crumbs but they have they peaked at 4 on bubbling under (:deadvision:), which is more than other non-BTS-boygroups + have the three longest charting albums for a 4th gen group on Billboard 200, with 19, 14 and 13 weeks (only BTS, Blackpink and NCT 127 have an album that charted for at least 15 weeks) (I don't think 4th gen groups besides them have an album that charted for at least 10 weeks in the US)

SRR had a cute run in SK, although it pales in comparison to the ggs of their generation

also they have farewell neverland, 0x1=lovesong and fairy of shampoo in their discography which is a win

can't wait for their set tonight :chick1:

You spilled I fear even though you usually can have questionable takes.

Cheshire was way out of their range and they should've never had recorded it. Yeji's screechy chorus still haunts me to this day. They need to release songs that are within their limited range and stop the constant Yeji and Ryujin payola

I remember fighting with Mel about that lol and got in banned for a week Itzy easily sell out some arenas in LA, and NYC. I hope their next world tour will be bigger.

ITZY's whole US tour sold out in minutes.

They aren't doing only small venues for lack of demand, but because It was their first world tour and JYP tests waters first before upgrading their acts' venues step by step.

The meltdowns over aespa. Don't worry your favs will book the Tokyo dome or sell 2m copies of a mini album too eventually. :fish:

Maybe not in US, but in Japan It took TWICE 2 years of touring until JYPE upgraded their venues for domes. Even though, they've been massive since debut on said country.

And when that happens. Aespa will be closing 2.5M or so for albums and multiple dome tours :alexz3:

The less popular 4th Gen GG in Japan they said yet the fastest one who sold out the premium Dome. Day 1 ended as a huge success :clap3:
